Excellent spot on the boardwalk for a date night to catch the sunset or a large party. Drinks are amazing, the aperol spritz,... old fashioned and espresso martini are top tier. The Raw bar is good but it has a limited selection. The shishito peppers weregood, but the Oyster cooked with manchego cheese and chorizo was amazing and they disappear quickly! For main, my partnerordered the Collins Rigatoni which was a seafood delight. Everything in it was perfectly cooked, but the seasoning was a littleunderwhelming for us. Nothing a little salt/pepper/red flakes couldn't fix. I ordered the special of the day which was ahalibut. That was one of the best Halibut I have ever had and it came in a delicious risotto. Loved the atmosphere of the place- very rustic/nautical and cozy. We split some chicken and lemongrass dumplings which were... phenomenal! However, the Roy-Boy fish tacos were rather underwhelming. The piece of fried fish was really small, but tastedgood. The sauce that came on it though was not very flavorful though, so overall it was not a super satisfying dinner. Surprisingly good for a boardwalk restaurant. Don't get the lobster Mac & cheese (it has absolutely no flavor). Do get the... calamari. It was definitely top tier and very fresh. The cocktails are also well imagined and made. Read more
Metered street parking in Asbury, there's an app or u can pay at the stations, need your license plate. Great atmosphere, staff... was amazing. I wish I remembered my waiters name, he was amazing (bearded dude, deep voice, glasses--you rock!). We went on aFriday night, reservations - 6pm they were not needed, but it gets busy. The food was amazing, portions were decent. To startwe had grilled octopus and calamari. The octopus came with this garbanzo salad that I loved. Octopus was tender, not chewy,cooked perfectly. Calamari--it came out lightly breaded and it looked like lightly cooked. The calamari was perfectly cooked soit wasn't rubbery, don't be fooled by the light color of the breading...while it wasn't crispy on the outside, the calamari wascooked perfect. Dinners were Jerk Mahi Mahi Tacos and husband had a special of the night, Halibut. It was one of the bestHalibut i have ever tasted. Tacos were delsih too, but according to my husband "not jerky enough"--it was fine by me. Tacoswere a tad over stuffed so they were a little messy, but who cares, they were delightful. For dessert, chocolate souffle that Iate all by myself, husband doesn't like sweets. Reasonably priced, on the expensive side, but worth it IMO. Will likely return. Read more
Had a great experience. We had a large group with kids and they accommodated us with no problems. All the dishes we ordered... were amazing and cocktails were made perfectly. The Branzino with Pesto Gnocchi is highly recommended. The service at therestaurant was 5 stars. Read more
The food was good and the portions were just right. My husband and I shared the calamari as an appetizer. I think it could have... been served with a little more marinara sauce. I enjoyed the Linguini with Clams and my husband had the Collins Rigatoni. Weenjoyed our dinner and would definitely consider coming back! Read more
This restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and very attentive staff, so very good experience on that front. But honestly, for... the price, the food could have been better. The lobster Mac and cheese was very underwhelming, virtually no taste. The leftovers have sat in our fridge untouched, and that's an anomaly considering how may teenagers go through it in a day. Crab cakeswere okay, but the burger received rave reviews! And judging by how quickly it was dispatched, I would say it was a huge hit. Read more
