Calling all foodies!!!! This is a must for any foodie visiting Asbury Park. The food was absolutely superb. Everything was... perfectly seasoned and freshly made. I had the lamb mergeuz for appetizer. For the main, my husband and I ordered the skirtsteak, octopus, and duck bao bun. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked and I highly recommend getting it. Loved the food here at Reyla, perfect environment for groups of people. Tapas style was amazing and we got the Reyla Dozen so... could try almost everything on the menu. Which was quite diverse and imaginative. 10/10 highly recommend definitely get thechicken dish it was unbelievable juicy and the banana bread that comes with the mousse was heavenly. everyone needs to checkthis place out. This place is perfection! I enjoyed every single thing we ordered : blini, bao bun, octopus, beet. The highlight was the bao bun... though! I easily could've had 3 plates of this to myself. I wish I could explain the full experience but I'm posting 2 weeksafter going and not remembering to share the praise. They deserve it. The ambiance is also a nice addition- airy, crisp andwelcoming. Definitely returning when in the area. Ahh the heart of darkness cocktail was surprisingly refreshing and rich all atonce, perfect for an espresso lover on a summer day! Read more
The chef went above and beyond for our group! Our waiter was also amazing. We have had such terrible food and service out lately... that this was a refreshing change. We came with two other couples and everyone was impressed. The menu was creative, fresh, and thoughtful. We will be back ! Highly recommended you check them out and try a little bit of everything ! Reyla is hands down the best place to eat in AP. There is nothing like it! Recently went for NYE, and had one of the best meals... ever. Their attention to detail and flavor on each of the dishes is incredible. All of the dishes were beautiful and delicious.My favorite was the octopus! Highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner or dinner with a group of friends! PS. Theircocktail game is strong! Read more
Delicious food and nice outdoor seating! So many interesting flavors (if a bit spicy). This place is really good, presentation... of food was beautiful and we shared four different dishes which was sufficient for two people. It’s a little like a tapasplace. I loved the hummus but was sooo disappointed by the very limited menu. I went there just for the octopus but it was not on the... menu. Even if you want to reduce the menu, keep a variety of dishes that were all time favorites such as couscous dumplings andoctopus. The guys at the table next to us were making a comment similar. Our waitress was great, she made a great impression. Myfish dish with chick peas was very yummy. I will go back but please, please add a few more options to your menu, specially forpeople who do not eat lamb. Finally I had a Phenomenal drink from the bar with rye whiskey called Golden Afternoon. I highlyrecommend it, simply delicious. I took off one star for the limited menu and the fact that the menu on the website hascompletely different offerings than the menu we were given. Read more
