I quite enjoyed my experience dining in at Talula's! The atmosphere on a Tuesday night was very active and there bar was almost... full! It does get quite loud inside the restaurant making it hard to hear my wife across the table. The food was great we hadthe ricotta toast (sadly forgot to take a pic of it), my wife had the carbinara, and I had the beekeeper pizza! The riccitatoast was very tasty and the ricotta was fresh! The pasta was great with a nice warming spice over time! The pizza was goodhowever the middle peices were undercooked and soggy. It was weird because the pizza had a dark crust to it but I think the oventemp might have been too high. Overall very good will go back to try more! Read more
Better make a reservation in advance, because this place fills up. Pizza is probably the best thing here, as the dough is... perfect and they've got all types of interesting toppings (including vegan pepperoni). That said, please try the salads - we gotone with a creamy dressing, sunflower seeds and radishes from a microplane. The carbonara was probably the best thing we tried.Textured ramen noodles and a really cool italian/asian fusion. They've also got kimchi fried rice and some other goodies. Awesome little place right in the heart of Asbury Park! Great interior decor, friendly staff, and even better food! We got the... Margie, a pizza with sourdough crust, fresh mozzarella, sauce, and the perfect amount of basil. Their pizza oven is on displayfor all to see it get crisped to perfection. Good beer and cocktail selection, as well. One of our new favorites! Read more
Fun atmosphere, my favorite spot to get vegan pizza. Once I had to double check and make sure they used vegan mozzarella because... it was that close to the real thing! Vegans and non vegans will love the Vegan Vodka Bacon pizza. The Chili Ramen Carbonara isso good too- I ask them to make it vegan for me. If you’re 21+, try a gin & jam! Read more
There is nothing like a gin & jam. I think it is my favorite cocktail ever & it is a must try!! I have tried recreating at home... but it is just not the same so I will keep going back. Talulas never disappoints. The bee keepers pizza is also my favorite. Read more
This place is literally fire. So fresh and everything is locally sourced. Both vegan and vegetarian friendly! The rampus pizza... was particularly delicious. The sourdough crust was wonderfully leavened and cooked to perfection. Must attend!! Read more
This may be the best pizza I’ve ever had. Fennel sausage, house-made mozzarella, cherry peppers (a little heat), sautéed... kale. It was incredible. The salad was excellent too. I’m going back the next time I’m in the area. Read more
