Great service and the kitchen staff was so impressive to watch. They all seemed genuinely happy to be working there, which is... pretty rare! Ideal seafood restaurant in the heart of Asbury Park's buzzy business district. Bright and lively. Great spot for lunch.... Friendly and attentive staff. Perfect beach eats vibe. We shared the fried shrimp and fried fish meals. Both were good, fresh,clean and flavorful. Fish was haddock and the batter had a subtle taste of sweet yellow curry that was a pleasant surprise. Amazing food and service! I loved how there was so much outdoor seating available. The oysters, fish and chips, shrimp and fish... tacos were very yummy. The seafood and drink menu were impressive.. Delicious food & the loaded Bloody was very good. A bit heavy on the seasonings, but I'd personally prefer this over my drink... being too weak. ???? the waitor was wonderful as well, answered any & all questions... Ran back and forth between the indoor andoutdoor guests, while giving us plenty of time to enjoy our food. Didn't feel rushed. Atmosphere was pleasant... Good eats. Impressive seafood selection though quite expensive. Sat outside on the picnic tables. Our waitress appeared... overwhelmed and said so, so generally did not engage the table. Very nice wine list perfect for dining from the ocean. Read more

The Bonney Read is great, I love the ambiance. Have been here a few times, brought my mom here yesterday. Seafood is fresh, and... their burger is one of the bests. Great wine and cocktail selection. Our waiter, Justin was very friendly. My only complaint isthat it is a little pricy for the portions. We got one of the seafood specials which was delicious. Overall, I do recommendchecking this spot out, it has great vibes and yummy food! Read more
i m happy with what i ordered, blackened Grouper Sammy (burger), lightly season coleslaw. it was tasty, well seasoned, lightly... spicy, tartar sauce was good too. seasoned fries was chrunchy. my friends ordered salmon , fish and chips. both enjoyed theirmeal. Read more
