If you sometimes have immense sushi cravings like I do, this local sushi shop is a great place for some quick, takeout sushi!... Located in Lotte, they have a variety of menu items, some individual, combos, and party packs. I was surprised, their sushi isactually pretty good ~ average, and definitely it the spot for my cravings. Price range is also affordable! My faves are thespicy crab roll, spicy california roll, and the dragon roll and eel sushi combo! Getting the dragon and eel sushi combo is QUITEA STEAL ~ $10.95. Separately, these are the two pricier individual items in the menu ~ Dragon Roll being $7.95 and the Eel Sushibeing $6.95 ???? plus the man that works here is super kind and sweet, and really makes sure he gets your order correct! I?ve eaten here, three times so far, since moving to Ashburn area in July. The first time was because the owner was doing a 10%... sale (I didn?t know it was closing time), and they had a simple California roll, that wouldn?t cause issues even if I did eatthe pre-made stuff. The second time, the chef made it for us. And the third time, I ordered the dragon roll, after forgettingto eat all day. And he made it for us, of course. Picked up some other rolls as well. Warm rice, with soft unagi and thin piecesof avocado... tightly packed (the roll did not fall apart!)... yum. And that is when I decided. I will order one of those hugeplates for the holidays this year from Da-On. I?ve had such pleasant experience here, that I plan to return again and again. Read more

I'll be completely honest... I never considered myself much of a "sushi person". I always found sushi to be a popular delicacy... that I personally never found myself enjoying, and a visit to a sushi restaurant with companions was always a pressure-filledsituation for me. However, my opinions about sushi were completely turned around when I tried Da-on Sushi. Firstly, the serviceis excellent- the people working there are both kind and understanding. They are knowledgeable about the menu and will not giveup until they know what's a good fit for you. I'd like to add that on my first visit to this excellent restaurant, I ordered anexquisite dish called a "Roll-Sushi Combo". My mouth had never sensed such heavenly tastes before, and my mouth waters anytime Ieven remotely remember how that first bite was like. I have never gotten a better first impression from another restaurant asDa-on Sushi gave me that day ever since. The catering is excellent... never-before-thought-of combinations and uniquepreparation techniques make for a meal you aren't likely to forget soon. Finally, as a nice cherry on top, the price for such adelicious meal is surprisingly low. It is, without a single doubt, a wise use of your hard-earned money. It was the best take-out sushi in Lotte. I bought sushi/ roll combo, rainbow roll and sashimi salad bowl. Those were awesome and... reasonable price. Much cheaper than the other sushi restaurant. And good/nice quality!!!!! Everything was really fresh. Also,the customer service was nice!!! Read more
Overall it was satisfactory, but not extraordinary. I recommend more fish in the sashimi bowl, like the restaurant that use to... be in Lotte Mr. and Mrs.Sushi. The sushi was alright, but the dragon roll desperately needed sauce because it was dry, and thespicy tuna roll, wasn?t spicy. Read more
