The starters and soup tastes too good. We ordered paneer Tikka and chilly corn which tastes damn good and so was the soup which... was sufficient for 2 people. The Rajasthan thali was good but I'd rather not suggest Gujrati thali. Dishes were sweet, kadi wasnot cooked, in tindora ki sabzi there was very few tindora and more of chana and so I dint like the Gujrati thali. In terms ofservice, we had to request to serve plates so we can start off eating, napkins and leamons repeatedly. Read more

Went for dinner. Pan Gulkhand drink was overpriced. I wouldn’t order it again as it seemed like we were drinking liquid form... of pan while eating. Spinach mango chat was light on stomach and flavorful. We also ordered chana batura and pav bhaji. Bothwere mild and good. Pav bhaji was served with a bowl of fried rice/rice pulao - never seen this combo before. Overall satisfiedexcept for the overpriced, and wrongly ordered drink. Read more

This was our first time dining experience at Rupa Vira. We order few drinks, soup, appetizers and thali. Drinks were good but... felt slightly overpriced. The soup ordered was tasteful but would have enjoyed more if it was hot given the rainy day. It wasalmost lukewarm to cold. Hara bara kabob was a slight disappointment in terms of quantity and felt was overpriced. The chinesebhel was spicy, tangy and refreshing for the pallette. The Gujrati and Rajasthani thali was good for one person and good spreadof food items. The taste was also pretty close to the authentic food dishes of Gujrat and Rajasthan. Although a good experience,it was slightly on the expensive side. Read more

It's got great ambiance..almost resembles Fine Dinning setups on Pandara Road and Cannought Place, New Delhi. Bollywood music... from the 90's is another delight... Menu looks really promising..probably the first Indian restaurant to have Desi Chinese onthe menu..got me really excited. We ordered Masala Soda(Coke+Indian Spices) - It tasted like Coke and lots of lime..almost noflavor or taste of "Masala. For $8 it's a complete rip off... Virgin Mojito and Passion Fruit Bellini, both equallydisappointing. We ordered for Hakka Noodles..it turned out to be made of Vermicelli instead of noodles and loaded withspices..requested for a less spice version...utterly disappointed Gujraati Thaali - Kadi and Dhokla were the only Gujratdishes..rest are more from different Indian states..with tastes of Maharashtra and Southern parts..deceptive name..but can'tcomplain as tasted close to Indian dishes. Paneer Tikka was soft and tender, loved having it..though had to request for MintChutney..wonder how can they not have it as part of standard serving. Overall Service was a bitter sweet experience. Overalldisappointing experience at prices higher than most other Indian restaurants on the east coast. Read more

We ordered Sev Puri and dosa. On our request they could add ghee to the dosa, kinda making it like a ghee roast dosa. Sev puri... was really good!! The dosa however was average (not that crisp) and sambhar didn’t taste anything like the ones you get at thesouth indian restaurants. If they can improve the taste of sambhar, i would love to try it again. Read more

We ordered Gujarati Thali, Rajasthani Thali and Dabeli. Gujarati thali was obviously better than Rajasthani thali. I think both... have decent quantity for an adult lunch/dinner along with a snack. Gujarati Thali Review: White sweet kadhi and puran poliwere my favorite. I liked dahi wada and khandavi too. Undhiyu and tindola sabjis were decent. Khichu in Gujarati thali was dryand cold. Something was wrong matar paneer too. Rajasthani Thali Review: Pyaz kachori, aloo sabji and churma were good. Gatteki sabji and dal were okayish. Bati was like a small fried ball of dough. Rajasthani Thali didn't do any justice to theRajasthani flavor. Dabeli: I liked dabeli. The bun and masala was fresh. I especially liked spicy garlic chutney along withdabeli too. Tip to the management: Let the customer have 1 dabeli and 1 vadapav since both are priced the same. Read more
