Food was alright, and a bit bland. If it wasn?t for the sauce they put on top, it would have been really bland.
Ironically I never had a chance to try this food when I was in NYC, after a visit here yesterday I regret that it took so long.... Amazing experience, especially for a chain. The person who served my online order was very kind when I arrived, and when wearrived home and ate it, we loved everything we had. Friendly workers and delicious food! The worker even checked in during our meal to see how we liked our platter.
It's always easy to order online and pop in for the quick pickup. The staff is always warm, friendly, and welcoming. I love that... the food is satisfying and not too heavy, and the hot sauce is excellent. Go to choice is the regular size combo, rice, extralettuce (to cool down the hot sauce), tomato, green peppers, and onion. Read more
I live 2 hours away and yes, it is so worth it. We take a few plates home and damn, does it not taste better the next day. July... 30, 2019- Back in town for an errand and of course we need to stop here. Best staff around! So nice and they always remember us.The smell when you walk in will get your mouth drooling. Nice clean and new facility. We came around 3:30pm to grab a quick bite, however few chicken pieces in our platter was bit dry.... The staff was super friendly, location is very convenient and spacious. Will come back again Read more
This was my first visit to Halal Guys, it was a gift opening here at their new location in Ashburn. This isn't however their... first restaurant they started in NY in 1990 and have branched out to the DC/VA area including Washington, Vienna, Fairfax andSpring field. I had the chicken and beef combo with rice and salad which was delicious and a sizeable portion. Their got sauceis hot, go easy. Also you should try the baklava which comes from Chicago. Halal Guys is one of my go-to places for a super quick and filling meal for a decent price. The location at Pipeline Plaza makes... it super convenient being very close to our neighborhood. Before, we had to drive to Fairfax to get our chicken and rice fix.The servers here are super fantastic and friendly and make sure we're well taken care of. My order is a regular double meatchicken platter with extra tomatoes with extra white sauce and one line of hot sauce. Read more
