We were a party of 8 for brunch on a Saturday morning. The place is so welcoming and beautiful decor. When we got there there... were 3 tables and one was leaving. It took us 1h30m to finally eat. Staff was okay. It was the manager and cook (also owner). Myhusband's choice was bad. It was breakfast in a bowl and home fries were burned. He was trying to explain to the manager whatwas wrong with his plate and she was cutting him off, to pick another meal, she clearly didn't care about his reason. I wouldthink you want feedback from your customers to improve. He ended up eating what I ordered corned beef hash. It was very goodhowever home fries also burned. My friend had breakfast burger and again she wasn't able to eat the home fries. The coffeewasn't great. I won't try it for any other meal. If you serve fries that burned I can only imagine lunch and dinner! Read more
I hope it gets better! We went there for brunch today, he got the Breakfast Bowl which was dry and totally unimpressive. I got... the Huevos Rancheros which was pretty to look at but almost impossible to eat as it was more like a cup instead of a flattortilla, loads of avocado (not guac - no flavor) and only a measly 6 bites of chorizo. The atmosphere is nice though and theyhad live music. The wait staff was nice and they were working really hard. It looked like they were most likely understaffedespecially since they had a private party going on in the other room. We had a burger to go from here once in February that wasdelicious so we were bummed that we didn't enjoy our brunch. The restaurant biz is hard -I hope it gets better!! I will tryagain!! Read more
Helllooo?if you haven?t tried this venue you are missing out! EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was top notch! The drinks, the... bread, entrees, THE SERVICE, all of it. I?m so glad we finally tried it. Super finicky about my restaurant choices; do nothesitate to try this place. We will be back; probably a once a week venture! Bolognese is absolutely phenomenal! First time at the 874 Cafe and already planning on our next visit. I rate it better than a 4 but not quite a 5 as they ran out... of corn beef hash so the serving was very small. Read more

Very good food and excellent service. Had breakfast with many good choices from the menu. Tried the omelet and blueberry... pancakes. Both were very good. Server did excellent job. Read more
