We have eaten at Gan Shan Station many times over the past year since moving to Asheville. We have never been disappointed. ... The food, atmosphere and staff have always been top notch. We have been at Gan Shan for ramen night, dumpling night, steamedfish night and may additional random nights. We have thoroughly enjoyed each meal. The dishes are fresh and flavorful. Youcan't go wrong with anything on the menu. We have also done the Chef's Table. What an outstanding evening each time we've doneit. Last night we had the soft shell crabs and steamed fish. Both were exceptional. We're looking forward to being thereagain next week! Read more
We love coming to Gan Shan. I'm a ramen fiend and theirs did not disappoint. I intended to save some as leftovers but ended up... eating the entire bowlful in one sitting-it was so delicious! The staff is wonderful and the ambience very cool and inviting. Read more

If you want SPICY come here. It's been a few weeks now and I can't remember the name the dish, but, I asked for spicy (and eat... it often) and was NOT disappointed. I never get 'red faced' or sweat, but, certainly did on this. Was good to get something toeat other than all the bar food downtown. Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 is the beer selection was very limited and alsothough the food was excellent on the spicy side it did have a bit much on the salty side. Minor complaints.
