Really wish I could give this place 5 stars as I really enjoyed my food. The menu has a lot of variety. It all sounded good. I... ordered the Havana Bowl and an iced tea. My bill with tip and 10% service fee was over $21. The food was delicious and veryflavorful. However, the value just wasn?t there for me. It is not clear what the service fee is for. Who gets that? If you?regoing to charge a mandatory service fee then that cost needs to be included in the food price. The men?s restroom was dirty?more specifically the urinal had a ring. Overall, the menu provides a lot of refreshing and cool dishes. But for a weekday lunch$21 was too much. I ordered a latte on the way out. It was a very very good latte but cost me $5 for a small after the servicefee. Read more

THANK YOU Green Safe Café for carrying so many vegan options! My (non-vegan) boyfriend and I visited two days in a row because... we were so satisfied. Both days I ordered the Woodstock (sprouted tofu scramble with tomatoes, tempeh "bacon", root hash, toasted ciabatta with vegan "butter"; See attached photo) with a side of kale and onions. It was all really, REALLY good. Ican't wait to try more of your offerings. We will be returning next time we're in Asheville! Read more

Let me start off by talking about how they didn't have tomatoes for my soup which was some kind of curry soup.not worth... remembering. No flavor .. baby food tastes better than this. Salad was great but my food took like 25 minutes to come out. Mysister ordered the Buddha bowl which gave her the major runs. Healthy or not, the food was overpriced for what you get. Read more

Food was delicious. Staff were attentive and fast. Lots of healthy and healthier options. There were pancakes made of almond and... rice flour. I had nuts and fruit added. They did an excellent job infusing it all without making the texture of the pancakemushy. Read more

I really enjoyed the Appalachian Trail Plate (Vegan) with the Tempeh Bacon. This is the best vegan breakfast I've had to date at... a restaurant. The flavors of the tempeh bacon with the sprouted tofu scramble, the locally made ciabatta bread with the veganbutter and jam (yum!) with the root hash was the perfect combinations of sweet and savory flavors! The meal was filling but Ifelt good after eating, not overly stuffed but adequately nourished. They give you your money's worth and I was satisfied afterfinishing it. Also, I enjoyed the vanilla latte I had with almond milk. I could really taste the quality and it was one of thebest lattes I've had. I will definitely be returning and recommend this place to others as they have a myriad of options foreveryone. Lastly, the service was welcoming and contributed to the overall pleasant experience. I opted to try this locationbased on other reviewers mentioning this location as the better one to visit. I am glad I went to this location as they did notdisappoint. Read more
