This is probably my new favorite meal place when visiting the Pinball Museum (across the street) or shopping around the Arcade.... Also, on a hot summer's day, it's a friendly stop for a refreshing beer or G&T. Our server, Kristina (sp?) as fabulous andupbeat, and made us feel very welcome. The nephew and I were able to split a giant bowl of fish and chips, and still didn'tfinish. Those chips were salty shoe-string fries that were too easy to keep picking up for the next bite, and the fish were bigchunks of perfectly flaky white fish. Yum. For me, a Noble Pineapple Cider seemed the perfect way to cut through all that, andthen we were on our way. Can't wait to come back and try some Brisket and Mac n Cheese. First of all, finding a parking place for Huli Sues was horrible! Took us a while circling the block but that’s no fault of... the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful! All the staff was nice, vibrant, great music! The menu is elaborate! Several itemson the menu I’ve never even seen before. My wife ordered the Meaty Mac! Macaroni and cheese with pulled pork and a side ofgrilled pineapple, fantastic! I wanted the wings but decided to get the Double B burger with fries and slaw. The burger was aground beef burger with chopped brisket on top and on a Hawaiian roll! Then we split the soft serve mango! Will be back!!! Read more
Went there on Sunday to have a dinner, ordered a variety plate (brisket - one thin piece, pulled pork, 2 pieces of ribs and 2... pieces of sausage) it was served on an ice cold plate so the meat was cold after it was on our table for 2 mins... The food wasfine but again it might have tasted better if hot... Onion rings we're delicious. For a dessert had that good looking coconutcake so it was pretty but nothing special and too dry but it's to my taste... Mango pineapple soft serve was ok, way too sweetfor me. Went here for Fathers Day dinner and it was great! The brisket was the best we’ve ever had, the mac n cheese so cheesy, the... cornbread moist, and the fish tacos divine. Cool little fusion spot doing Hawaiian-style BBQ and American cuisine. The location was fun. Staff was incredibly friendly and... attentive, all dressed in island-appropriate wear. Drinks were good, if not terribly unique. But the food; the food wasfantastic. No matter what you order, get a piece of the cornbread. It's not traditional, southern cornbread by any measure, butman is it good. You won't regret it. Read more
OHHHH LA LA! This is a MUST STOP!!! So wonderfully delicious. Staff was so friendly, engaging, and beyond hospitable. Food is... the cherry on the cake. The brisket nachos will change your entire exception on all nachos moving forward in life as they setthe bar so high I doubt I will ever find a nacho that can beat them. The banana pudding pie was mouth watering with big freshchuncks of banana, perfectly created with the perfect amount of sweetness. The swag is awesome and the homemade sauces so good Ibought some to go. I will 100% be stopping here again in the future. Read more
If you haven't tried Huli Sue's you need to go asap! Such a fun concept and very well executed. We were seated immediately at... the bar and the staff were all very nice and fun to talk with. Such a great fun find. We got done watching a show, it was cold and we were hungry. Just walked in blind. I'm not sure exactly... what I had, but thick chicken was amazing. My wife had something with onion brown gravey and rice...man so good. Deep friedBrussels great. The French onion soup and Brunswick stew could stand alone as a meal. Read more
