Dope spot for food and drinks! Service was great. I am a child but cannot get over the fact that they have oyster shells built... into the bar. It's amazing. Whoever designed this place had an idea of what they were doing. Love the details like that. Read more

My boyfriend & I are in Asheville for his birthday and we were craving oysters. The place we wanted to go to ended up being... closed so we came here last minute, and it was delicious! We were very pleasantly surprised. The ladies working behind thebar/serving were attentive and very sweet. We got a dozen raw oysters, they hit the spot! We also ordered their deviled eggswhich were surprisingly delightful. The fried shrimp & fries were also very good, the batter on the shrimp was light but stillcrunchy. & the shrimp were jumbo sized! My boyfriend got the trout entree and he was so happy about it! We were very pleasedwith our quick visit, him & I both would highly recommend giving this place a try! Read more

Excellent food, beer and atmosphere. Dropped in without knowing anything and was happy we did! Oyster stout on nitro was great,... trout dip, blackened catfish sandwich, and shrimp poboy - all very good and very fresh! Read more

Both ladies (the bartender and waitress) were very friendly and efficient. Parking is a problem since the parking lot is small... and it's surrounded by residences. The drinks were delicious and food was awesome. My family has a good time. We will definitelybe returning wherever we come back to NC. Read more

On a summer day, having some oysters and a beer is my favorite. This place won?t give you the oysters on ice (even if you ask?)... so these oysters get warm and mushy as you eat them. I?ve never seen an oyster house do this. Not the best experience. Friendlyservice and good beer though. Read more

Everything oyster was delicious. The blue cheese fried ones were slightly under fried, but still lived up to flavor expectation.... Raw oysters were fresh. Only issue was the names on tray didn't match board so 2 oysters I have no clue what I ate. Ipa was aperfect compliment to the oysters. The shrimp poboy was good but slightly disappointed by panko batter and basic amount ofshrimp. The etouffee meat was great quality, but was drowned out by burnt roux. Etouffee needs blonde roux, otherwise call it a(burnt) gumbo. The 1/2 pint portion for $17 (and didn't give me bread) was overpriced. 3 pm openning time is a bummer. Read more
