New ownership. Chef puts so much flavor in everything! Delicious homemade ranch for the creative style wings. Hot chicken... sandwich has all kinds of sauce on it. Been 3 times since the reboot trying something new each time. Love the menu, vibe, and service. Almost everything is a decadent... variation of what you'd expect. If I wanted to eat here once a season, it would be a treat to look forward to. But as someonewho wishes they could eat here every week, it would be overkill. Chef Goff knocks it out of the park. The roots shine through while being updated and providing some great improvements, like... table service and local food at low prices. Is it McDonald's cheap? No, of course not. But it's retains its status as one of thecheapest diners in town, it has excellent diner food and drinks that source locally when possible and are crafted in amazingways (Get that hot chicken sandwich. Do it. Don't wait.), and it charges what it needs to in order to source that food AND takecare of its people. The spirit of Tastee lives on while embracing change that's been a long time coming.
