We ordered lunch to go, called in by phone. It was a large order ($150 total). Got there when they said the food would be done... but it was not. After waiting another 10min, flagged down a server to see when our food would be done. He rudely replied, "ifyour order is done, it would be out here already". When we finally got the food home, we realized that they forgot 2 of oursides. Now on to the food. There was nothing outstanding, everything was mediocre to bad. The shrimp and grits were swimming ina vat of oil. The waffles were so dry and dense that none of the 4 kids that tried it had more than 3 bites. The chickensandwich had a dry, over battered, over cooked piece of chicken. It barely resembled a chicken sandwich. The biscuit tasted likeburnt onion powder. It was so appalling that I don't know how this place can call itself a southern restaurant. Overall, I justdon't see why this place is so rated so well. It was over priced and overhyped. Worst of all, no excuse for the rudeness andmissing food. Read more

Took the family here for lunch and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Love the atmosphere and quality of service. I got... the sweet & spicy chicken sandwich (pictured) with a side of collards. Absolutely delicious. Start off with the biscuits, whichare a meal in themselves. Highly recommend spreading a bit of blueberry compote on one half and a little tupelo honey on theother. And don't forget to add a southern soda. We tried them all and loved each one! Read more

Fantastic food!! The waitress, Sarah, did a great job- very attentive and helpful with menu suggestions and things to do in... Asheville! Also I’m from Michigan and have lived in the south for a few years… still letting sweet tea grow on me. Buttheir sweet tea is absolutely amazing. I drank 4 glasses ???? Read more

We visited on a Monday night and although we had a reservation, we definitely didn’t need one as we had no trouble getting... seated. We got the Biscuits for a Cause to split amongst the four of us and they were really good! The meatloaf was cooked toperfection and the brussel sprouts were insanely crispy, too crispy for me, but my boyfriend loved them. The chicken and waffleswas also great and incredibly filling! I highly recommend checking this place out! Read more

Delicious food and wonderful service. I think the prices are very fair for the amount and quality of the food. Every meal and... side has a unique flavor. We came for Sunday Brunch on Father's Day and the staff was just wonderful and so sweet. Make sureto try the cocktails...they are so delicious with so many flavors. Can't wait to visit again! Brunch and dinner with full bar, indoor and patio seating (dogs welcome). Southern favorites updated & some are somewhat... healthier, but not all. Atmosphere is very chill but patio seating is right on the parking lot. Plenty of free parking, buthandicap parking is very inconvenient. I had the shrimp po-boy & fries. Fries were very tasty. I did not like the bitter greenson the po-boy, but that’s just my taste. My husband had the meatloaf & cheese grits & had no complaints. We have been heremany times & will be back. Read more
