Outstanding! Good was fantastic, selection and atmosphere were great, service was great. Such a cool dynamic that the... owner/chef/waiter is a Sherpa with Everest records! The display in the restaurant that has his gear, awards, info, and otherstuff was amazing. Just as it was said on the menu, sure enough, he was making food and delivering it. We tried the threehouse featured dishes, both were fantastic. Summit Burger - super good, triple meat burger with cheese and toppings. Theburger sauce was great! French Fries were awesome. Chicken Tali - chicken was so tender and full of flavor, the rice wasperfect. Marion Blackberry Pie - save room for dessert or gorge yourself or take it with you, but don?t leave without tryingthis fantastic pie. No doubt we?ll be back here! Read more

We had two days in a row dinner at this place. Both times a table outside which was nice. Ceasar salade with chicken and summit... burger first day. Both very good and portions. Pie and ice cream was also nice. Second Day fish and chips and grilled hamcheese sandwich. Sandwich was okay, fish better choice. Staff very friendly. Read more

This is a Nepalese Himalayan restaurant. I really enjoyed the Himalayan spices in the food. It's a small restaurant with walk up... ordering but they do bring the food to your table and they serve beer. We had Papadum, Chicken Thali, Himalayan Sherpa Stew(which was my favorite) and the mushroom burger. When we ordered the mushroom burger we didn't realize it contained no meat. There are several vegetarian dishes available. We also ordered the fresh Marion blackberry pie which had a unique taste. It's agreat stop after hiking. Read more

We saw great reviews and chose this restaurant while visiting Mt Rainier NP. The food was not as good as we would expect for... the ratings. We had Chicken Thali and Fish & Chips. The rice in the Chicken Thali was too dry. The curry and the chicken meatwere fine, but not that special. The fish and chips are ok. So, it?s about 3.7 stars. The restaurant is semi-self-service. Customers order at the cashier and the cashier brings out the food to the table. Customers get their own water. We are totallyfine with this type of service. Read more

After a day of hiking in the park, we stopped here for dinner. I ordered standard American and it was good. My wife ordered... Chicken Thali, oh wow, was it tasty and awesome. Haven't had curry this good since we were in Japan. Spices are just right, chicken was tender with correct long-grain white rice. Luckily it was Monday (they are closed Tuesday). I highly recommendadding this to your visit. Read more

Very nice atmosphere due to the fact that the owner is a Sherpa that ascended Mt. Everest multiple times and has decorated the... restaurant accordingly. Especially fascinating is a life sized figure of a mountaineer in full gear. The restaurant serves somesalads, burgers with good fries and some Nepalese curries and a stew. The food is alright for what it is and fills you up wellenough after a day hiking. It is a little pricey, but this is to be expected for a restaurant in driving distance to a nationalpark. Read more

A decent local Nepalese-Western restaurant on the way to Mount Rainier trail. It is not a fusion food place just FYI. The... (local) meat was fresh and full of flavor. The summit burger was huge and delicious (attached). The Nepalese chicken dish wasalso delicious (attached). Swift service, nice staffs, great location! Read more
