Nicely decorated restaurant and decent service. Food quality was very disappointing... from the chips and salsa to the main... courses, the flavors were off; got a side of "queso" that was just a bowl of Velveeta like product. The Al Pastor burrito bowlwas really bad, both in presentation and flavor. The chicken tacos ware tasteless and dry. I would not recommend this place toanyone looking for good quality Mexican food. Disgusting there Avacado salad absolutely comes with nothing except raw vegetables not even salt pepper other restaurants if u... don?t like an item we get immediate replacement here they make us pay for salad that don?t even come with salt and pepper And Ididn?t even order jalapeño they charge it for something they try to fix there salad mess.. The food was unreal! I thoroughly enjoyed the chimichanga plate and the churros with ice cream! It was my first time ever... ordering and I cannot wait to go back soon! Some of the best Mexican food I have had. 100% recommend. Read more

This used to be a 5-star review because Mexico City used to be a 5-star place. Unfortunately the service and the order accuracy... has gone so far downhill recently that it's basically underground. It's not just that they're understaffed, like everyone else -I get that. But the staff they do have is rude and dismissive. 9/10 times your takeout order won't be right. The most recent(and LAST) time we went, we ordered 2 of an item. They gave us one and charged us for both and just said they ran out. The foodis still good, when it's right, but we won't be back when we're treated the way that we are there. (Note that my husband hasbeen going since it was a takeout spot ONLY. Food was very good and super fresh! Attentive and very friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Interesting decorations with a... funky vibe. Would go again, not much in this area for restaurants and this would be a good choice for the area. The burrito bowlis not huge but very good and can't beat the price for the amount and quality. First time here and ate at the bar. The bartender was lovely I believe her name was Lupita? And she explained she was from... Mexico City. Wonderful service and helpful choosing menu items. We started with the first margarita listed on the menu and theywere delicious. She brought chips and salsa and they complemented the margaritas. The salsa had a different flavor I couldn'tplace it. It was very fresh tasting. We started with ceveche that was amazing. The music was upbeat alternative Spanish music.Our dinners were delicious. The rice was spot on. Then the chocolate flan was like something grandma would make totallyhomemade. Excited to come back soon. And then. . . She was making guava milkshakes and made a little extra for us to sample.Amazing! Never had I ever tried a guava milkshake. So refreshing! The one negative was the phone would ring really really loudat the bar which is actually a great thing for the restaurant as the take out orders kept coming and coming. Read more
