What great food and ice cream! It seemed pretty busy when I stopped in for lunch. There was just one young woman working but she... was doing a great job juggling the walk-ins for ice cream and the sit down lunch crowd. Only near the end when a crowd of 10folks came in did service start to slow down. I didn't have anywhere to be so it wasn't a big deal to me but I could see otherswere irritated. All in all I'm glad I stopped in and I'll have to stop by again the next time I go to Mahoney. Read more

One of my wife's and my favorite cafes to visit in downtown Ashland. Limited menu includes some standard sandwiches and... occasional novelty sandwiches. I had a very unusual, tasty, cheeseburger packed in a closed, grilled white bread (somewhat likea large hot pocket). Excellent soup and a variety of salads. Peaceful atmosphere and very friendly staff. Good prices. Read more
