Stopped by this rustic building to check this place out during my long ride home. This quaint restaurant is set back and not... noticeable from the road but it should be. There's a great atmosphere inside with plenty of outdoor seating for what looks likethe makings for a great weekend hangout! The food was fresh and very tasty and the presentation was right on. The scallops weresuperb and the salted caramel brownie dessert was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Read more
Stopped here on the way home, knowing only that this was a localish chain of restaurants that had been recommended to me... multiple times. Crackers and cheese with several spreads were available buffet style for free, I had heard there was more onoffer but maybe this was due to the time of day? The food was well prepared and fairly priced, the dessert was delicious. Thebooth we were seated at was a bit of nuisance as it?s legs impeded my entry and exit significantly. Great food and pleasant wait staff, but not enough help. Service may take longer than usual, but food was good...had the meat... loaf. Would definitely come back. Saw a young bear run across the road while waiting for my food. Fun place to eat dinner!! Read more
A friend suggested we try this restaurant. Wasn't expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was beyond... exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious. We showed up 30 min before closing and the food quality wasn't affected in theleast. Atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Cost was lower than expected. Can't wait to go back! Read more
We visit Ashland once a year and I aim to eat at Common Man at least two or three times. Though I suppose they're a "chain" of... restaurants, the food tastes homemade, full of love. They offer amazing breads and cheeses to snack on. The atmosphere is sowarm and comfortable. A few notable things I've eaten: French onion soup, crab cakes, and the bacon dip. Read more
Stopped in for lunch - Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food - husband had the lobster corn chowder and blackened chicken... tacos and I had the black bean quinoa stuffed peppers. Eating out a lot as we're on vacation, I appreciated that the stuffedpeppers was just the right size. Would love to have this back in NJ! Read more
This my first time at this restaurant, so I was very thrilled by all the fun surprises. It was perfect comfort food after a long... day hiking. Our server spencer was awesome. Great spot for dinner date. Most of the food has meat or cheese- might be a bitlimited for vegans. Read more
