Great place to stay. Restaurant had great food. Room was clean and enjoyable. Fire pit was my only issue for the cold. Not deep... enough. Still had smoke coming into room with correct flue priming. Would stay again in summer time! Read more

What a great place! This place has all the feel and nuance of the old lodges of years gone by with every modern convenience. The... staff are great, the food is delicious and the view is breathtaking. The rooms have real working wood burning fireplaces withfire wood right out side of your room door. Our room had a very nice jetted tub in the corner of the sleeping area next to thestone fireplace. There were two nice TV's in the room, one in the sleeping area and one in the sitting/kitchenette area. We hada king size bed that was fantasticly comfortable. Looking forward to going back! What an absolutely beautiful place with incredible comfortable rooms! Even had a jet tub in our room along with our fireplace.... Gorgeous views and the staff in the restaurant and the quality of the food were absolutely five star! Our waitress was adorableand the head chef even went out of his way to slice up some freshly smoked turkey to feed our dogs for dinner. What a beautifulplace we will be back again Read more

Great hidden gem to stay at. First night was a weeknight, bar and restaurant were closed. Luckily I had provisions. 2nd time was... Friday and restaurant and bar open. The staff is super friendly. The bed is cozy, always go with a King and the sheets are sosoft. The rocking chairs are a nice feature but longing for the recliner and leg rest. Just to note: Do be sure to check theexterior windows to be locked, both of mine were unlocked. Also, having fire places in the room I would think there would be afire extinguisher in each room, the mantle tools are a bit worn, especially the tongs. Overall it's a rustic place that is justacross the California border in the mountains and should be experienced at least once. Read more

I wanted to love this place but the air conditioner was so obnoxiously loud that we could not sleep well. The mattress was too... soft for a tummy sleeper. The freeway was much too close for my taste. Something we should have researched better, so it's onus. The room was clean. The restaurant food was pretty good but a bit pricey. So we left a day early. Read more

What a charming hotel. Great service, big clean rooms, fireplace, fridge and a jetted tub in the room. We also had a balcony... overlooking outside dining area. Good food in their restaurant also, fairly priced with great service. Oh...and they have afully stocked game room and a gym, too! A bit of a drive to downtown Ashland (11 miles) but it all depends why you are hereanyways. We'll be back! Read more

Excellent place to stay with plenty of accessible parking. It has a small pet area for your dogs, with a cute viewing fountain.... The bed are super comfortable and the rooms have a jacuzzi tub and a fire place. The lodge has a Restaurant on premises withgreat food, lots to see and do around the area from hiking trails, to escape rooms, wine tasting and more, it's all with in areasonable distance to the lodge. They also have a great outdoor venue for wedding, reception and get together of any kind, Iwould highly recommend. Read more
