The food was good, but one of the servers was unnecessarily rude for no reason. Three of us sat at a table near the bar. The... room was dark enough that we couldn't read the menu. I asked our server if he could turn on the lights and he was happy to help.Another patron mentioned how nice it was to be able to finally see his food. Fast forward 20ish minutes and a female serverwalks into the bar area, mentions how the owner doesn't like it when the lights are on, and proceeded to turn the lights backoff. One of the women I was with mentioned to the waitress that as a customer, we would really like to be able to see our food.In the middle of her statement, the waitress turned around and walked away leaving the lights off. Tasty and traditional Mexican food with an artisanal flourish destined to delight your tastebuds. If you like mezcal cocktails,... this is definitely the place to go. The bar is stocked with an array of mezcal & tequila. The horchata & hibiscus are madein-house and deliciously refreshing. We had a blast here. We sat in the outdoor balcony. They did have heaters. The guacamole was good. The molcajete was good, but... most of the meats were over cooked (steak, shrimp, chicken) the parts down in the juice were much better. The sausage wasfantastic...thee best I?ve had in a molcajete. Wonderful spot and I can't wait to go back at full capacity. Don't skimp on apps. The sopes were so good I could have eaten... twice more as my meal. In the past, the third story on the plaza has a bit of a pretentious feel to it, but i didn't get thathe. Would recommend and will be back Read more

Awesome find in the heart of Ashland! Enjoy the plaza view from the balcony or the beautiful Mexican decor and music inside. The... margaritas and food were delicious and authentic (trust us, we love Mexico and grew up in San Diego). Will definitely go backfor dinner. Always call first this place has a habit of posting hours on google that are vastly inaccurate. They also allow doordash to... charge you when they store closed and the poor driver gets there and wasted money and the freaking place is closed. Food goodbut these guys are on constant vacation!
