It's been over 15 years since I was last here & was a nice treat to come back w some friends. We had a very nice time. This is... definitely a long experience dinner. The service, food & decore was amazing!! It took 15 mins to get seated & then another 20 toget orders started but I think we came right in the beginning of a rush. All went well & were very happy. We had a WONDERFUL dinner here for our last night in Ashland. The service was great, and the food was very tasty! They have... great local and seasonal influences to the food, wine, and cocktails. Don't skip the bread; it was freshly baked anddelicious!!! Do yourself a favor and make reservations. Read more

It was a rainy and cold night when we stayed at Ashland. We were so impressed of how many nice restaurants there were in... Ashland. The owner of the small Inn we stayed at was impressed we were having dinner at Peerless. We appreciate the spaciousnessbetween tables at Peerless. Our server was friendly and recommended a nice Chardonnay from the Applegate Valley. One new thingwe learned about Oregon wines. My husband and I shared oysters from Vancouver to start our meal. My French onions soup was tastybut the star was the toast inside the soup. My husband had shrimps with peas that was delicious and flavorful. Instead of mains,I had Manila clams and my husband had steak tartare. My dish was quite large and yummy. The steak tartare wasn’t as good asthe clams though the house made crackers were delicious. The in house made sourdough were amazing. We didn’t have dessert aswe were very full. Peerless is an elegant restaurant features best of Pacific Northwest has to offer. A must in Ashland. Read more

Another excellent dinner at Peerless! My husband and I don't eat as much as we used to so we are grateful for the smaller fare... offered at Peerless. We started with the soup du jour, which was cold cucumber. This was my least favorite dish of the night. And a bowl of it was way too much for my palate. My husband opted for the Flat Iron and I had crab cakes and the artichokesdishes. All of these were fantastic! What I couldn't finish, my husband happily did. We finished with dessert. You can't gowrong with any of the offers. No wine tonight. However I did ask for an Italian Ice and the bartender served up a deliciousone! Eric was our server. He is a personable fellow who gives you time. No rush. The entire time spent at Peerless tonight wasleisurely and very enjoyable. It comes across as humble, but don't be fooled. The Peerless delivers an amazing experience. Many places determine their... specials by what leftover food they have in surplus. The Peerless specials on the other hand were clearly a chance to allow thechefs to experiment. The dishes were an exciting blend of daring and comfort; the setting was quaint and refined. In a townthat seems to have replaced nearly all its formal dining with casual sports bars and idempotent menus, the Peerless was astandout experience. Read more

My husband and I were passing through town between Portland and Bay Area, so glad we saw reviews for this place on google maps.... The host welcomed us in w/o reservations on a Saturday at 6pm (he kindly let us know he needed the table back at 8pm). We got aseat indoors by the door that led to the garden. Andrea never let our water cups run empty. The seasonal summer menu wasdelicious — we ordered chilled melon Thai curry soup, king salmon tartare, lamb chops, buttered carrots+zucchini, and thecured pork appetizer (I forget the name). We were just short of licking the plate on every dish! My husband also enjoyed aqueens gimlet, very well made and refreshing. Read more
