My husband ordered food catered for my 40th birthday party. It was only for 40 people, it cost $2000, no one was there serving... or refreshing any items. The amount of food and quality was ridiculously disappointing. Some of the items were clearly frozenpurchases from Costco, and the charcuterie board was smaller than what I serve for my family of 12 at Christmas. Needless to saywe ran out of food even though everyone didn't even eat, and my husband had to order items from other restaurants to make up forthe shortage. It was frustrating, stressful and embarassing. They just have employees drop the food and go, and it was a Fridayevening when no one could be reached and nothing could be done. While I enjoy the food every time, the service is almost always awful. Despite having many employees on staff, I always feel... they avoid taking my order for as long as possible. So many employees walk around the kitchen like it?s a Sunday stroll, butthey?ve got orders to make. Don?t come here unless you have plenty of time to kill. You can?t blame slow service on the stressyour staff is under for every complaint. They look as if they?re not working at all, what stress are you referring to on aSaturday at 11am? I wish I lived close to Suzanne's! I'd be there every day! While eating lunch, it was delightful Suzanne greeted us and chatted... to ensure all was well with our delicious lunch. She's always kind, hard working and dedicated, just like her entire staff. Igot chicken salad in a fantastic Hanover tomato and potato salad! Yummy! Then, I bought quiche, seafood salad and a tomato pieto bring home and share...Then, some apple pie for dessert. My idea of heaven! My favorite place to eat! We had Homemade by Suzanne make all the food for our wedding reception. Everything they made was exceptional and a lot more food... than we expected. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly friendly and professional. I would not only recommend them I wouldsuggest that if you don?t have them cater your reception or any type of event you?re truly missing out.
