I arrived at the drive-thru speaker and the person told me it would be a few minutes. I was listening to a podcast so I know... that it took about 9 minutes before my order was taken. When I arrived at the window the worker asked me what my order was againand seemed to indicate the order in her hand was not my order. She handed me my straw and drink. A few minutes later my LongJohn silver's combo was ready. I asked for cocktail sauce and was disappointed to find out that for whatever reason this storedoes not carry cocktail sauce because it does not come on their truck. I'm very surprised even though it is a Long John silver'sKFC combo, surprised that the brand doesn't require them to carry cocktail sauce which seems critical to servingseafood? Everyone was very polite and friendly, And once every few years I really want Long John silver's, but I wouldn't go outof my way. Read more
Ordered one two piece fish combo and added one chicken strip, ordered one three piece fish dinner. Told that chicken would be... five minute delay. Got back to hotel (traveling through) and we got two pieces of fish and four chicken strips. Sides limited toKFC sides only no regular Long John Silver sides. Can't recommend under present conditions. Order KFC, at least the chickenparts can be identified by the staff. Staff was very nice but somethings wrong. Fish was tasty. Threw rest away. Read more
Wife wanted to go, so we went. Big mistake. Took a long time, fish was dry and overcooked, shrimp was a bit overdone but there... was no cocktail sauce. Out of Pepsi, tartar sauce was almost pure mayonnaise. A pretty dismal dining experience. Read more
This location is located in ashland Virginia. Alot of stores have become victim to the reputation it carries. Under cooked food,... rude employees, unprepared meals with either cold or raw meat. Don't ask for crumbles it's like you asked for a lung or maybeit's just because I was of another color, other the black. This seems to be the standard now for most fast food stops. Racially motivated employees that are taught to be rude and lack care if the patron likes it or not. Pretty much the feeling I got whilevisiting this location. Just okay. I ordered the fish & chicken dinner & the food wasn't fresh. I worked for LJS for 6 years in the past & can taste... when food has been sitting. The fish was a complete disappointment, greasy and very hard. Fries were fresh & coleslaw wasdelicious though. Drive thru customer service was pretty good. I didn't have a chance to rectify because I grabbed the food &jumped back on the highway to est. Probably wouldn't visit this location again for a while. Read more
The only reason this is a two star and not one is that fact that the girl at the counter was very friendly, the food got to me... very quickly and dine in was available! Now that's where the good experience ends! The food presentation was very sloppy as itwas just thrown in the container and it didn't look very fresh and everything was soaked in grease. The fish was very rubberyand the chicken wasn't at all crispy. I also ordered shrimp and guess what? They don't have cocktail sauce and apparentlythey've stopped carrying it, really?? They need help. 5 minutes waiting to give order, and was the only one in line at the time. and then another 5 to get it. The... fish was very tasty, but the piece of chicken I paid an additional 2 bucks for was just a bit bigger than a tender you get atburger king. Nice woman working the counter. Very very disappointing. I realize that when restaurants close they begin to shut certain things down such as shake machines or... run low on some foods but literally everything we asked for here down to the chicken and the fish we was told they didn't have.And we was in drive thru line with at least 45 .min left prior to them closing and they couldn't serve us anything we asked for. Didn't even carry target sauce. We ended up with a side of green beans and a lemonade when all was said and done and went overto taco bell next door which was much better prepared to serve their customer. Why bother even being open if u have nothing tosell either because u are just that lazy and want to go home at the turn of the hour or what But makes me wonder why bother evengetting a job when u do nothing except wait to go back home. Just stay hpme and maybe they can fill a position with someone whois willing to go above and beyond to serve what's on their menu because that's the whole purpose of the establishment . Whyoffer items on a menu but then don't have it to sell. It just makes for a waste of time on a customers end I feel like to waitin a drive thru line that is already slow as hell only to get to place an order and find out they only have a limited serving ofFrench fries left and a pepsi but no ice because the ice machine is broke down and ice cream machine is shut down.
