This is still one of my favorite places to visit but PLEASE bring collard greens back to your menu! I travel about 45 min to the... restaurant and would make the drive just to have broccoli salad and collard greens. All the sides and entrees are very good. Theportions are generous. During a lengthy coastal drive, we ended up in Ashtabula and we were hungry. We had looked up restaurants and knew we had to... check this place out, since we both love bbq. We sat outside on a picture perfect day and each of us enjoyed the Beef Brisketsandwiches. It was cooked to perfection and served with steak fries. I had the California topping and he had the Texas. Now this place was excellent. ...being from California.. and my son from Texas.. we all knew not to try Mexican or Sushi in... Ohio..(or TN for that matter)... this smokehouse did impress! The smell hits you when you first walk in..and it's only positivesfrom there. It's all good! We came to the area from out of town to visit the local wineries. We decided to try this restaurant. The ribs and wings were the... best I?ve ever had. Everything was hot and delicious. Over all good experience. Like the view of the river, the entrance on the first floor is a little confusing and cluttered but... upstairs is nice. Great selections of beers on tap. Got the prime rib special was a Sammy and a side..meat had alot of fat butgood flavor and dipping sauce good as well. Loaded fries really good lots of toppings. Over satisfied and price reasonable.
