Visited for lunch: 1) Will, our waiter was excellent and highly accommodating. 2) Food was exceptional 3) service was top... notch Popcorn shrimp - fried, crunchy, tangy with marinara sauce and Side of fries Flounder plate - well prepared fish - rightamount of crunch, flavor was just spot on Salmon - flavors and ingredients had a well balanced fusion Mashed potatoes withlobster - tasty, and the lobster was perfect additive. Peach iced tea - lightly peach flavor, (I got it without ice) Chocolatewave - decadent chocolate that melts in the mouth...with a slight crunch of the chocolate chips...the vanilla ice cream was goodbut together it was delicious. We don't live close to this Ashtabula location but take the time to drive there. We have always had good food and service. We... went to celebrate our anniversary and it was not pleasant. Ordered the two pick your own, got one side and charge extra for thecup of chowder. No refills on our drinks and stale crackers. Which the second time response oh they must all be stale. Well I think the food is fairly expensive for a chain restaurant, you do get a lot of it which makes it worthwhile. I had the 12... oz New York strip and it was cooked to perfection. My broccoli was very fresh and good. I had lobster bisque as a side and Iloved it. It was just a very good soup. I get enough food that I know I can have lunch the next day.
