The food here was adequate, but very average and definitely didn’t live up to the price tag or hype. There as so many options... in Aspen that are much better at a similar price (ie. Wild Fig - our meal there was truly out of this world). This place was inline with any average Italian restaurant half its price, but did not live up to the expectations of an Aspen fine diningexperience. For your money, there are better options nearby. Always enjoyed my meals but the last 2 time has been terrible . Calamari was burnt the pizza under cooked , pasta over cooked ... an no flavor , let not forget messing 1 complete order so someone didn’t have there main course . I ordered garlic bread and Carbonara pasta. Food is way overpriced. The garlic bread was pathetic. It looked as if it was dipped... in oil and served. I would have appreciated it if they had used butter instead of oil. It seems like they want to save money byusing used oil. I had to throw the garlic bread. The pasta was tasteless. It was just a few pieces of chicken along withhalf-boiled spaghetti and milk-based sauce. I wasted my $65. Do a favor to yourself and save some time and money by findingsomething else. Read more
This was our one year anniversary celebration and it was DELICIOUS. We started with a Negroni and Old Fashioned, both house... barrel aged. Then shared a Rollino, basically the best fancy mushroom arugula and mozzarella calzone you’ve ever had. With afresh AF arugula salad in the middle. My husband had lasagna and I ordered from the seasonal Black Truffle menu… get outtatown. So good. The ambiance was cool, upbeat, fresh. Delicious food, great service, and an overall amazing way to celebrate our first night in Aspen! Reservations are strongly... recommended! They were more than willing to accommodate buttered noodles with chicken for my son (no kid's menu). We got themussels, fried calamari, lamb chops, risotto of the day, and a couple other pasta dishes (all delicious). To finish off, highlyrecommend the hazelnut mousse and tiramisu. Read more
