I recently had the opportunity to dine at a French-run breakfast joint and was unfortunately disappointed by the quality of the... food. For a meal totaling over $45, I was expecting a higher level of culinary excellence, but the burrito and omelette weordered were mediocre at best. The burrito was small and dry, lacking in flavor and overall appeal. The omelette, on the otherhand, was a complete disaster. The eggs were overcooked and had a texture reminiscent of rubber tires, and the smoked salmon andspinach were not incorporated well into the dish. For a restaurant that bills itself as a breakfast joint, I would expect abetter execution of classic dishes like the omelette. On a positive note, the staff were wonderful and very helpful. The coffeewas also quite good. Overall, while I appreciated the friendly service, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the subparfood. Read more

Owner was very racist. My friends and I came here and bought coffee and tried to get a table to work. Sat down and worked for... about 10 minutes before getting kicked out for a white family of 3 when there were multiple table available. There were no signssaying that the tables were for dining only, and the owner was incredibly rude when kicking us out. "You guys need to get outnow because I need this table for my customers." And gave us dirty looks as we were walking out. The coffee was also verywatery. Highly recommend staying away from this restaurant especially if you are a person of color. Read more

Today's experience was definitely not a great one, especially the discrimination I recieved. After ordering a meal not worth $66... dollars, was told they closed in 30 minutes after we ordered yet still continued taking orders from others. Very disappointed onthe treatment of feeling welcome especially traveling from out of state, definitely not the place to go for an Aspen welcoming. Read more

We stopped for breakfast there. I got a smoothie and burrito while my brother got a western omelette. The smoothie was good, and... the burrito had a nice flavor. However, the small portion sizes cannot justify the price premium. The omelette cost over 20dollars, and was medium sized at best. The smoothies were 8.50 and the burrito 12. Perhaps a good place to sip on a coffee andtake in a good view, but please don't order any entrées and get robbed. My personal recommendation for a satisfying meal? BigWrap Read more

Places in Aspen generally leave me disappointed and amazed that people pay the prices for the lack of quality. In this case, I... wasn't overly impressed, but I did like that they have nice outside seating, and they treated my Fur-Daughter well. She hadnon-dairy scrambled eggs and seemed to enjoy them. The baked goods decent, but I am kind of partial to Loius Swiss. Anyway, give it a try. Order something good for your fur baby too. Read more

Pastry review: The GF Coffee Crumb cake was excellent. The ratio of streusel crumb topping was spot on. The cake had pockets of... a cinnamon filling that had a well-balanced flavor. The soft cake allowed the filling to not feel overly rich. You can see aclose up in my picture of the cake. The chocolate croissant, not pictured, was incredible. I am comparing the chocolatecroissant to one of the top French bakeries in San Francisco that I visited last year (I'm originally from CA) and it holds itsown as one of the most decadent chocolate croissants I have ever had. The chocolate pieces on top of the croissant are meltedflawlessly into the croissant. The chocolate filling is spread evenly and has a decadent flavor with each bite. It was amazing. The worst part is that we live 4 hours from here. Read more
