Went for dinner here but not out first time. We always visit this restaurant when we go to Aspen. Always make reservations lol.... The food is amazing. We ordered all kids of food and it was all good. At the end we ordered shaved ice dessert which was reallygood as well. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Read more

Don't let the small house fool you. The place has a huge basement that is really cool. Service was top notch. Everything we had... was really good. But the chocolate molten lava cake was an absolute must. Read more

If you want to eat at Matsuhisa Aspen, better make a reservation 30 days in advance. They take reservations strictly 30 days out... and book up quickly. The place is always packed. The sushi bar is without reservations, but you must be waiting at the door at5:50pm to get a seat when the restaurant opens at 6pm. The Lounge upstairs takes reservations 48 hours to the date, but theexperience is not as good as in the main dining room. The food is really flavorful and beautifully presented. The service isalways very attentive. The restaurant is high end. It has a big city feel, not the small town cosy ambiance. Don’t expect tospend less than $150 per person. Is it worth it? Yes, for sure. I would eat here every week if I could ???? Read more

Visit if you can at one of their few locations around the world. I find it much more intimate than Nobu, and the food and... ambiance are outstanding. Your waitperson can be incredibly helpful with finding things that will hit your palate just right. Update for 2022: Opinion hasn't changed. Menu and preparation are outstanding. It is our one must-visit place every time weare in Aspen. Read more

WOW!!!!! A must eat at in Aspen! The sushi was absolutely incredible, beautifully prepared, it was almost too pretty to eat!... Drinks were incredible, get the cilantro margarita it was the best I’ve ever had, service was impeccable! We sat at the bardownstairs and were waited on by an awesome bartender who was so attentive even though he was so busy. He was so knowledgeableand helped with all of the ordering. Can’t say good enough things about our dining experience here. Oh! And Nobu Matsuhisahimself was there that evening which was really really cool. Will be back in Aspen, Vail, and Denver! Read more

This is the place where you eat and then, all of a sudden, everything you have eaten before gets downgraded. What a fabulous... cuisine and taste! I totally recommend the steak. You will hardly remember another place cooking your steak like this one. Eventhe dessert! Melted in our mouths! Very cozy, elegant atmosphere, great service and probably the best food I had ever triedbefore. Get ready to pay the big bucks, as a dinner for my wife and I almost hit the $400 USD. But if course, we also hadseveral rounds of exquisite wine. Try Matsuhisa while in Aspen, Colorado and you will not be disappointed. Read more
