Easily the best pizza place in the area. Everyone that answers the phone and delivers are extremely pleasant which is a nice... plus, but the food is always amazing. Over the last 3 or so years, we've experienced all the other pizza places nearby go waydownhill, but Casa Del Sole remains strong. We have no fears about trying new things here because they are always delicious andthe classics are, as well. Read more
This is a great little pizza shop! They definitely have super high quality ingredients and have been a staple in the local... community (over 30 years, and I believe the oldest in Aspinwall). The local area is also nice to walk through. Today, I triedout the plain cheese calzone. This was a fantastic calzone. The size was pretty good for a regular and the price wasn't tooexpensive ($13). But, it was more so the quality that stood out. The dough is quite tasty, and there is a good balance of doughto cheese in the calzone. I like how much butter and parm they put on top of and around the calzone. The cheese inside was alsovery good. This is quite heavy on ricotta, which I enjoy. Definitely high quality and creamy ricotta cheese. Only down side ofthe calzone was the sauce. It was served in a somewhat small dipping cu and it was quite watery (no tomato chunks, but that's apersonal preference). I must also add: the employee on the phone was one of the nicest employees I've interacted with in a longtime. Very friendly, doesn't upsell, answers all questions clearly, A+ for that guy. All in all, a great place to get pizza I'msure and definitely a great calzone spot. Keep in mind there are no desserts though. Read more
