Best Italian Restaurant hands down not just in area, but period. Food always comes out excellent and wait staff is always on... point. Best Meatball Parmigiana sandwich anywhere. Been here a thousand times and everything on menu is a 10. They have dailyspecials which are phenomenal too. Always has fresh Fish also. Owner is friendly and always makes sure you dinner is alwaysperfect. Portions are always filling size, and all options have a good price point. Read more
I lived in South Philly for a number of years. I don't have to tell you how many excellent Italian restaurants there are in that... area. Put if you live in the Delaware County area, then you would be doing yourself a great disservice by not trying Gennaro's.If I didn't no better, I'd swear I was in Mom's kitchen. Great food! We had the veal parmesan, rigatoni vodka with the chicken cutlet, and pan seared halibut. Had calamari and oven... roasted mozerella for sides. This place is bring your own alcohol. The food and service was great! We will definitely be comingback! Read more

My friend was visiting and it was on his way so we decided to give it a try. All the dishes was very flavorful. The pasta was... cooked perfect. The veal was very tender. The service was excellent. It?s a small place so I would highly recommend making areservation. We got there about 30 minute before closing and it was still quite busy on a weeknight. The place was very cozy andeveryone was so friendly and welcoming. I was told the tiramisu is amazing but we did not get to try it out as they were soldout.
