The Shady Lady is a very cozy but lively restaurant with an extensive brunch menu!! They offer a bottomless drink option for $30... ($25 on Fridays) which includes 7 different drink options. Each entree comes with free coffee or tea and a free brunch drink,so you still get a drink in the event you don't want to do the bottomless option. In addition to their numerous drink options, they also offer specialized slushy drinks for $14. I had the avocado toast, strawberry cheesecake french toast, and the stars &stripes slushy. Everything was made to perfection!! Their avocado toast is one of the best ones I've had so far. It was drizzledwith a spicy dragon sauce that was amazing and enhanced the flavors of the other items, to make a delicious savory experience. The strawberry cheesecake french toast is probably the best one I've ever had, and is the only one I've ever had that wascomparable to the IHOP stuffed french toast. My stars & stripes was a masterpiece, and was the perfect blend of a strawberrymargarita, a pina colada and their blue crush lemonade. Read more

Brunch was delicious. Vibe and service was awesome. Only reason I don't give 5 stars. It took more than 30 minutes to get our... orders. However, the manager was apologetic and offered complementary desserts/drinks. All in in, delicious brunch but we had towait for more than we would like. Read more

As most reviews say it's a bit pricey here, but I think it's worth trying this spot at least once or twice to sample the variety... of dishes they have. That being said, we came for Sunday brunch and it was a lively crowd, loud music, and flavorful food.Chicken and waffles are a generous portion, the Astoria hot brown was flavorful but underwhelming in size. The entrees come withcoffee/tea and a breakfast cocktail so one should keep that in mind when looking at the prices of the dishes. Overall a goodexperience. Read more

We were at the Shady Lady this past Saturday for brunch and thank goodness we got a table with some shade because the sun was... hotter than Hell and half of Georgia. We got the bottomless brunch for $30 for 90 mins. The service was prompt, we were seatedright away and the food didn't take long to come out. I had the fried chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy on the outsideand tender inside but a bit dry. The waffles really didn't have much flavor and were too bread like, if that makes sense. Thedish needed more than the sauce on the side. It need a side of fruit ir salad to cut through the dryness. Thank goodness for therefreshing mimosas. My friend had the eggs with bacon and potatoes. It was good but not "I've died and gone to heaven" good, butit filled her up. Back to the mimosas, they were, mimosas! Nothing much to say about them. They could've been colder but it didits job. Would I be going back to the Shady Lady? Perhaps. It is one of the very few restaurants that serve bottomless brunch,so there's that. Read more

It's a small place with good food. It was packed on the Sunday I went, wait time was about 10 minutes. I had chicken and... waffles. The food was good. So even though the food was good we were refused seating on 2/26/22. It's 10 pm they don't closeuntil 11. However the people before us were seated. I will never come here again. This is not how you treat people who wanted tovisit your restaurant. Read more
