I ordered Lamb Saag which is lamb cubes cooked in spinach and Alo Gabi Matar which is cauliflower, pea and potato dish, Lamb... Samosa, wooow these samosa’s were a bomb. Filled with meat. Lamb saag was absolutely delish. Basmati rice and naan bread…. I was so happy with my meal and serving was so generous that i had some left over for next day as side dish. This was my firsttime ordering from Yaar indian restaurant and won’t be last. They took my order over the phone very efficiently and deliveredmy food within 30 minutes to my door. Woow ! Very impressed. Overall food was delish and home cook fell to it. Tasty and everydish tasted distinct which i like. Because sometimes you order food that “everything” taste the same. This was not the casewith Yaar. I was very happy and i highly recommend ordering from them or visit them. Bon appetite! Read more

This place is a joke. For 24 dollars you get half a pound of chicken and half a pound samossa, then plenty of sauce (I guess to... drink) and some rice Basically, you are paying at least 20 dollars for 1 pound worth of food.as if that isn't enough, thedelivery guy complains for the 3 time amount the tip (I live within 10minutes walk ) because the restaurant isn't paying himmuch the minimum wage When calling the restaurant, they clearly said, don't order from us of you can't tip 3 dollars for eachorder, knowing that they order free delivery and I love 10 minutes walk from the restaurant Even at $15 it wouldn't be worth it Read more

This was my first time at this Indian restaurant. The ambiance was very cozy and relaxed. The service was friendly and very... accommodating. I had the 3 course meal for 19.99 which was really delicious. The chicken samosa and tikka masala wasmouthwatering! And the kheer dessert was tasty. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant or ordering delivery. A+ Read more

A decent local Indian spot right on Ditmars Blvd, however, having been to many great Indian restaurants outside of NY this place... fell short. The interior, although spotless, felt sterile and unwelcoming, definitely didn't have the cozy atmosphere that Itypically get in Indian restaurants. Food was okay; we ordered the 3-course dinner which came with an appetizer, entrée, anddessert for $18 per person. The samosa I ordered was spot-on, fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. Curries were a hit as well, yet despite that, they didn't mask how overcooked, dry, and tough the chicken was and the rice similarly bland and dry.Thankfully we ended our meal with a fragrant bowl of kheer. The meal felt like a roller coaster, a mix of good and not-so-goodqualities. Read more

I ordered the paneer makhani for delivery and the portion sizes were generous. The amount of paneer was also great. The food was... very warm when it arrived and delicious! I can’t wait to order from them again. My friend ordered the combo for dinner andsays her samosas were warm and delicious. The channa masala was great as well as the garlic naan. Read more

First impression of this place isn’t good. Came for lunch at 1pm on a Saturday and the place was a ghost town I was the only... one there. Waiter seemed very detached and not interested in serving much. Drink menu was very limited.(inquired about acocktail list and was told they didn’t have any.) Food menu was pretty standard nothing out of ordinary for an Indianrestaurant. Ordered two appetizers the tandoori wings and seekh kabobs took quite some time for them to come. Upon receivingthem it seemed these portions were enormous. Lol. Overall pretty tasty appetizers felt like they made them fresh hence thewait. (If your visiting this spot make sure you keep that in mind if your by yourself.) Ordered entrees chicken korma and Chanamasala. Both of which I would say were very Americanized and had a pre made masala that didn’t live up to my standards. Youcan easily taste they probably re use the same curry base for most of their dishes. Would I come back here again? No. It’sunfortunate because their aren’t really any decent Indian restaurants in queens. Read more
