The drinks made here are often times better than the corporate stores. The staff here is also so friendly and pleasant.

Customer service goes a long way, and this location inside Safeway in Astoria demonstrates it effectively, ordered three drinks... to go while traveling, order taken with a smile, new employee in training made the drinks with two attentive trainers watching,asking questions and quizzing as the process progressed, gave us one white chocolate mocha unmixed, stated she was training andoffered us stir sticks to remedy, drinks were delicious, made timely and served with a smile, 5 stars for effort, smiles andservice! The barista are unprofessional and have a bad attitude. They made fun of me and told another customer about my order and when I... confronted her, she came back with a lot of bad attitude and lied saying that "I don't know what are you talking about" with thegiggle in her voice. I would not give it a 1. Ordered my drink and the drink maker decided to blend it with the previous customer drink. Questioning... why I ordered the way I did. Then when I saw her make someone else drink and then just reblend it I complained. I asked for themanager. She replied I am the manager so what now. I asked for the Safeway manager and complained. This Starbucks has high andmighty employees and managers. Avoid it at all costs. Read more
