I got the Due South BLT as a club and it was easily one of the best clubs I've ever had.
Great atmosphere. Had the cubano and the BLT with the added turkey. Liked both but there could be improvements to both. The duck... fat fries definitely were not as good as they should have been. Frozé was extremely sweet (even for a frozé) Will definitelybe back to try other items Had the cluck chicken sandwich and a salad this time. Very big let down...the chicken was very dryand only covered half the bun. I love this place! The best thing about it is the people. They make you feel like they've known you forever. Their selection... of coffee drinks are very comparable to any coffee house. Their beer is ice cold and goes so well with their sandwiches. Theirsandwiches are so delicious. I have tried 5 different 1s and I have no complaints. But my favorites are the Kluck and theCubano. If you're a fan of Cubanos, this 1 is the best I've ever had. Once you try it and come back, ask for The Cubano "John"style. OMG...that sandwich is amazing. It's with the jalapeño coleslaw and BBQ sauce. But OMG the their cluck comes in 3different styles and the "sweet kluck" in my faovrite and get it with a fried egg and grilled onions on it. This my 1st time here and I'll be returning. Parking is available in front and back. The have hot and cold sandwiches along with... others. There is a brick pizza oven but it doesnt run all the time. There are alcoholic bevs for those who inbibe. My wifer andI split an Atascadeli Dip sand. It was loaded with hot RB, grilled onions, and cheeses. We had a side of duck fat fries seasonedwith rosemary and orange (?). I endulged in a homemade walnut brownie drizzled with caramel and washed it all down with aCalypso peach drink. Under the former fuel pump canopy we enjoyed watching the traffic under breezy blue skies. What a nicetime. Read more
This place is busy for good reasons! Quality local food. I got the "Gettin Figgy with it", it was one of the best sandwiches... I've ever had. Simple but so delicious! Amazing service, great prices (compared to other near by [burger] restaurants this iswhere you get the best bang for your buck 100%), they have live music sometimes & its just all around a great atmosphere, a realgem for Atascadero. They have everything you need for a delicious healthy lunch, and the drinks to go with it. I had the vegetarian Harvest... sandwich. So fresh! There is a convenient place to park for call-in pickups and lots of customers order to go. There is anoutside patio if you choose and limited seating indoors. Super friendly happy workers. Nice neighborhood place. Great menu. Nice try, but delivery execution is a fail. The descriptions sounded amazing. Just got 4... assorted sandwiches, and all were sub-par. Warm was cold, cold, was warm. All were soggy, and ALL overpriced. Delivery wasprompt, but the delivery instructions for driver was vague. Bummed, because we have tried to give business to our neighborhood,but there are other choices. Hopefully, they will step up their game, because of those other ( better) choices. Read more
