Fantastic pizza. More importantly, the service is excellent! The all-you-can-eat pizza/salad/breadsticks lunch buffet is every... weekday from 11-2 and they do not skimp on the pizzas at the buffet! They also will add pizzas to the roster per your request.Just ask. Five star service and food! Have gone there 3-4 times in the last 3 weeks and have told half a dozen people about howgreat it is. We found ourselves traveling to the Bay area and stopped in Atascadero to take a bathroom break and found ourselves at Mountain... Mike's Pizza, not intending to order any food, but the staff was super friendly when we came in and the aroma coming from thekitchen was amazing. We loomed at a menu and decided to order a medium Bacon deluxe pizza (I think that is the right name).WOW!!!! It has green onions on it, which I have never tried before on pizza, and it gives it a great kick in the taste buds! Weended up relaxing inside for about 90 minutes and watching the 3 big screens they have, all with different games on them. We wanted to like it and have been excited to try it but our first experience was pretty much a flop. The pizza took about 45... minutes to get and there weren?t really any people there when we ordered. Once we got the pizza at our table it was not evenhot. Our kids put a ton of Parmesan on their pizza before realizing there was a dead fly in the shaker. They took 3 other parmshakers off the tables around us that all had flies in them. We spent about $10 on this game in the picture and my son was goingfor the major prize but never made it there. With his last .50¢ he settled with the minor prize? which never was given from themachine. When we told the kids working they shrugged their shoulders and told us nothing they could do. Didn?t even try to makeit right. Overall I would rather go to round table, better pizza and games that will actually give out prizes. Read more
So as a long time lover of Mountain Mike's pizza where we used to live, I was excited to hear that Mountain Mike's was coming to... south county Atascadero. I have been eating Mountain Mike's pizza for 30+ years and since moving to south county, have had tosettle for Round Table, not bad pizza, but not the best either... tonight we ordered a large combo, plenty of pepperoni,sausage, cheese, lenguisa, and other toppings... and I mean it was full. I have got to say folks... this was the best pizza I'vehad in a LONG time. Yes we have visited the surrounding pizza joints, but Mountain Mike's just blows the others out of the wateronce again. This new pizza place has regained a big fan of Mountain Mike's and can't wait to go back. You will not bedisappointed!!! Also has a good beer selection and a salad bar that is fresh. By far the BEST pizza in the north county. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth the price. I recommend checking out their... sides and apps as well. Can?t go wrong with Mountain Mikes Read more
