The only positive thing about the experience was the food. The customer service was not it at all. The employees need to learn... patience and respect ? I understand walking outside to the second drive thru is a task in of itself, but I?d ask to work in thekitchens upfront, or the actual window if it pains you that much you have to be rude and obnoxious. Sunday, November 20, 7 PM. Waited in the drive-through line for over 20 minutes without a single car moving. Finally actually... jumped the curb to get out of line and left. There was a huge line. This store is definitely not ready for prime time. Myunderstanding is they opened two or three weeks ago and this has been a constant problem. Clearly, from these other reviews, Ican see there has been an issue and not having product or not being able to have a satisfactory Wait time. They should shut thedoors and restart their training and get ready to reopen when they are ready. Otherwise doing a disservice to the public andgiving Whataburger a bad name. Read more
This place is new to the area. Today is November 12th at 12:17 PM. Couldn't order a chili Burger because they have no chili for... anything. They also had no onions or lettuce. They were out of lettuce and onions. 1st time coming here was a disappointment.The French fries were good, the sandwiches were ok. They might have been better if they had onions and lettuce on them. Im writing this on behalf of the training going on now at Whataburger in Athens , Al. I have 2 young people who started training... there this week, they will not be back ! A woman training one of them never showed them what to do , never let them go on break, though everyone else she told them when it was their break time ! This was this persons very first job ! They are very quietand reserved and when hired they were told " Oh We will work with you and show you the Whataburger way ! " , If what thatchild went through their first day of training for the job to be a Whataburger employee , then they may never try to get anotherjob again , Anywhere ! When they told the woman training that they were thirsty , and asked for water , she told them they hadto wait 30 minutes for their break !!! Same thing when they asked to go to the bathroom !! Wait for your break !!! And we haveseveral witnesses to all of this ! Do you know this is against the law Whataburger ? I am upset to say the least ! If i could goin and discuss this with the man who hired them , believe me i would have ,but rather im left to leave a review they probablywill never read !!! I picked these teenagers up and the one who never got a drink or bathroom break was in tears ! They willnever be back and if Whataburger trains your children this way , do you really want abuse put up on them at their first attemptto start out in the working world ? Not me ! It will take me agoodwhile to repair the damage done by this managing "woman " ortrainer or whatever you are ! Plus other workers were telling them what to do also , they were confused ,tired , thirsty ,hungry and their self esteem almost destroyed by this woman on this shift monday evening !
