I've lived in Athens all my life, and I have faithfully gotten sushi from another restaurant in the same vicinity. I've driven... past Ahi many times, but I dismissed it because of what it looked like on the OUTSIDE. Big, huge mistake! On a whim I ordered apoke bowl (which I've never had before). The absolute best poke place ever! Not only is it super affordable compared to other places but they give you a huge serving!... The ingredients are yummy and fresh and the people there are always so sweet! Fast service too! No extra $ for add ons oranything. I have been very excited to try out Ahi Poke and was not disappointed. It is downtown on Clayton St, so it can be difficult to... find parking during busy times. You come in, fill out a sheet of what you want, pay for the food, and then wait for them toserve it up for you. It was not a long wait at all. I loved that I could choose exactly what I wanted to try, and my choicesturned out to be delicious. There are a decent amount of tables for you to sit at, and it wasn?t too busy on a Thursday evening.I would recommend trying it out. Read more
