Under new owners and management as of today, November 11, 2022. Oh my. All of the best comfort foods with a variety of... options. I got the Buffalo Blue and Lobster Mac n Cheese, planning to take a lot home. Two different orders. Both wereoutstanding. Grilled cheese sandwiches looked great, with lobster as an option there too. If only they offered meat loaf itwould match my Mama's and GrandMama's comfort food meal table. Great staff and service even on day one ribbon cutting with apacked house. Highly recommended. They will do dang well in this downtown Athens location. Read more

Surprisingly delicious. This is a fast food place, at least in vibe. It?s down in those private dormitories that townies usually... avoid, but we visited as one of our summer stops into studentlandia. I found it really expensive, what we usually pay for twomeals and two beers at our local exactly 2 miles from this place got us a fancy combo (dish with protein, veggie n 3 mac balls, soda) n a ?basic mac n cheese? - but the portions were generous. Still, this is pasta and cheese. I don?t understand why allthese places where people only stand behind the counter and you bus own table think you should give them tips, but we could seethat we were pretty much the only customers that afternoon, so we tipped. But really, it felt like tipping at McDonald?s so Ihope the franchise owners see this review and maybe just pay their people? The floor was really dirty - maybe they were busyearlier? - and there were dead roaches in the corner. Otherwise four stars for being a really great fast food restaurant. Editedto add: do not expect anything here to look anything like the photos on Google Maps provided by the owners. This food is servedin plastic and Styrofoam (?treated to be biodegradable?) like any other fast food restaurant. The cup of chocolate chip cookieswould be a bag of chocolate chip cookie stuffed into a cup, for example. If you go with those expectations, you will probablyalso think the food is delicious but pricey. Read more

I really wanna give this place 5 stars, but I'm super conflicted. The food was great!!! The price and the service, however, was... about enough to never go back. We went in last Sat around 6:30pm & the place was literally empty, which worried me bc I thoughtit'd be packed on a Saturday evening. 1 of the 2 girls working had the worst attitude ever. My husband asked if he could gettots AND pasta both as a base, and even said he would pay the extra charge...she said no. I suggested that he just order a sideof Mac and dump it into his bowl when we sat down...she said that we couldn't just order a side of Mac, so we had to order a Macn chs kids meal, on top of the one we already ordered for our son. When we got our food, the little dipping cup of tomato soupwasn't even half full and I had to ask for an extra one. My sandwich with vegan Mac n cheese and very few vegan burger crumbles, ended up being over $15, bc everything vegan/vegetarian costs quite a bit extra..which I understand, but for that price, I thinkI should've gotten more than 5 tater tots with my meal. For WHATEVER reason, my husband left a $10 tip!!?? (You take your ownfood to your table, get your own drinks and clean your own table when finished...so I think it's ridiculous that there's even asuggested tip AND a tip jar) After seeing that, the girl with the attitude started to act a little more helpful...but you couldtell she was still really struggling with being nice to us. For the 2 of us and our 7yr old son, our bill was somehow $58!!!!NOT including the tip he left, and NOT including the horrible dessert that was supposed to be cheesecake bites!?? They were rockhard, frozen..and had a breading on them that was like breadcrumbs you'd get on a chicken nugget. The texture was super weird aswell. My son's cookies were good though. Sucks those girls were so rude and made it super obvious that they hated their jobbc the meal was amazing. Just not $58+ kind of amazing. Read more

Really awesome food. I also love Mac and Cheese, so this concept is amazing. There is parking in front of the store, which isn't... quite where Google says it is, so keep your eyes peeled! The staff was also awesome and really friendly. I love it here. Read more

Service was great and the food was actually really good. I didn?t like the macaroni balls but mainly because it didn?t have... enough flavor. The chicken parm bowl was great. I also enjoyed both Cuban and short rib sandwiches. The portions look small inthe bowl but I was full after. I would go again. Read more

I went get the buffalo chicken mac and cheese bites. The employee was very rude and sarcastic to start off with when I had never... been to this restaurant before. Then they burnt my food beyond being edible and they smelt burnt. The employee knew my food wasbadly burnt but still decided to package it and serve it to me. Then when I came back to complain the same employee told mesupposedly all the mac and cheese bit come out really burnt and never tried to make it right or apologize. He told me told me tocall corporate. Read more

So. The good news is... the food was amazing. I had the Cuban grilled cheese. Swiss, sourdough, ham, pulled pork, pickles.... Truly awesome. The fried Mac and cheese bites were good, but I didn't expect such a strong seasoning profile. I expectedgooey, cheesy, goodness. They were heavily seasoned, not so cheesy, but still good. That tomato bisque shipping sauce....I'll be trying to replicate that at home... so good. The bad news... It's quite pricey. Standard restaurant formula is 3x yourcost. 1 for overhead. 1 for supplies, 1 for personnel. There's zero chance they are using that formula. Pasta is pennies. Bread is pennies. Cheese isn't truly expensive. I paid 9.95 for a grilled cheese sandwich. Also paid 3.00 for a side (3Mac&cheese bites) and a drink. Then there was the elephant in the room. Georgia is an open carry state, sure. In all myhalf century however I've never seen a public business (outside of gun stores) that allows their employees to carry a sidearm. If this place was in a bad neighborhood...I get it. This store however is nowhere near a neighborhood of any kind, let alonea bad one. The store was clean, but it of stock on multiple items. No soda, no broccoli, and 50/50 on sides. All in all...if you're craving Mac and cheese, and willing to drop some cash.... great place. Read more

Friendly service and great tasting food. Pick a combo, or build your own bowl or grilled cheese sandwich. Also very veg/vegan... friendly, and offers gluten free pasta as well. A little pricey, but worth it. As of September 2020, they offer dine in, butthey don't seem to be enforcing socially distant dining. Read more
