This is a nice little find in downtown Athens. Probably walked by it 50 times and did not notice it. But when I was looking for... ramen and stopped here it was a delight. The food was excellent and my ramen expert, Monica, said it was the best she had everhad. We both had the chicken ramen and it was indeed delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. There is a large bararea, plenty of seating indoors, and an outdoor street side dining area as well. We had a little excitement during ourexperience as the smoke alarm went off and people started evacuating. It was a false alarm and our meal was not eveninterrupted. The fire trucks arrived after we left. I believe! It was exciting but not really significant or relevant to myreview. I'm just sharing exciting stuff! The only downsides are very minor. It seems kind of dark inside. Not sure what Itwould look like at night, but it would seem to be dark. Also. Also, the cushions were very lumpy in the seating. Felt like I wassitting on a board between two cushions. However, that did not diminish the wonderful dining experience. I would just suggestyou check out your seat before you finalize your location. It wasn't a big deal. It's a little bit hard to see but I wassuggest you look for this place when you're hungry for ramen. Excellent food. Read more
DEE-LI-SHUS!!! OMG! We were looking for Ramen and, WE FOUND IT!???? Everything looked great and tasted even better! The shrimp... wonton ramen had GREAT flavor! The noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth was awesome! The creamy vegan ramen smelledwonderful and, it MUST have been good because my wife ate it ALL (and, she, usually, leaves something in the bowl.) All I knowis that we can't wait to get back! We had dinner on a busy Monday night. The ramen we got were perfect and warm. Great flavors and textures with the broth. The... takoyaki and shrimp tempura were a great start to dinner. Highly recommend for any ramen fix needs. Read more

Our group of 16 was looking for a place that would be able to accommodate us. A colleague found Jinya online and we decided to... give it a try. I am not a fan of eating at chain restaurants when traveling but it was something we didn?t have at home, so Iwent. I am so glad I did. The female manager/bartender warmly greeted us. She was happy to seat us and worked to keep as manytogether as possible. Our service Caroline was just as nice and knowledgeable. Food was excellent and quick. Would highlyrecommend! Read more
It honestly and truly DOES NOT matter which location you go to. JINYA Ramen is one of the best I?ve had. ( I?ve had lots of... ramen ????) This location in particular was amazing of course. Delicious broth, perfect noodle texture. Doesn?t matter if it thethick or thin noodles. So savory, mouthwatering, PERFECT RAMEN! JINYA never fails. I?ve yet to have anything less than a greatexperience. My server was sweet and attentive. Actually all the servers there were attentive to me and helpful. They all madesure my order was taken or asked if I needed anything. I was in good hands at this location. I?d make the hour drive back forsure. I had the JINYA Tonkotsu Black ramen and a pork bun. This is where I found one of the best Ramen I have ever tasted! Most importantly, it was for vegans! Ideally! Very fast... service despite the busyness of the hall. The staff is polite and friendly. The Ramen is really tasty. The vibe is great. The staffs are really friendly and nice. The wait is usually long but it is worth... it. I always try the chef?s special and they are always great. The crispy chicken is amazing and unique. It?s my go to place forramen and a good place to go out to eat with friends in Athens. Since it?s right on downtown we can take a walk after or beforethe ramen. Definitely recommended. Read more
