It was my first time eating here. The cashier answered my questions and made recommendations. The chicken tenders were really... good! I'll get them again. The food was good. I tried the ponko chicken and it was nice. It was pretty easy to order and relatively quick.
Ponko, you have ruined my life.. because now you?re the only thing I want in life. breakfast, lunch mhmmm, dinner yumm. It?s sad... to see my plate filled with other things, Canes is a sore sight. Good but not great. Beware taking it to go. Containers retain moisture so a 10 minute drive home resulted in wet fries, rice,... and tender. I believe this was due to the food prepped ahead of time before the scheduled pickup time. Portions are off. 3 pcvs 5 pc with the same sides resulted in different amounts of the side. Salad: Poorly cut lettuce and a whole head of it wasleft. Potato Salad: All Hellman's mayo with sesame oil and like a pound of salt. At least try with some Kewpie mayo. Servingsize for a potato salad was significantly smaller than expected. I don't think I will be back. Value per $ is low. Read more

i just went here with some friends, and we ordered a few different things to share, and the tacos were the absolute highlight.... we ended up getting a second order before we left! we also really liked the fries, they?re super flavorful and almost asaddicting as the tacos! Read more
We love Ponko! So happy they added an Athens location. I'm vegetarian and I appreciate that they have great veggie options. My... favorite is the veggie patty, fries, slaw, salads, i want to try the tofu tenders. My husband loves the chicken, tacos andhotdogs. Can't beat that crispy breading and sauces. Everything we had was delicious. This location offered great service, themanager came by to check on us and asked how everything was. Read more
