I was absolutely blown away by my papusa. I can?t remember the name of this sandwich but it was unlike anything I?ve ever tried... before and it was phenomenal. I did like the papusa better- but I would order both again. The slaw that was brought out with thepapusa was so yummy on the sandwich again. The environment was great, the servers were prompt and kind and I would go back 100xin a heartbeat. Don?t miss out on great food! Read more

Good service and tasty food mark this place. The chicken stuffed with shrimp was the highlight. The varieties of drinks are... tremendous, and know that they're hot sauce is hot! However, it's also deliciously tangy. Wheelchair folks can be accommodated, but call ahead. Vegetarians, vegans, and people who choose to be gluten-free will do well. Read more

The beef stew soup was tasty like a homemade soup. The popusas we're the hit of the place. The mariscada is definitely original,... but it was strangely assembled and cost to racial would say it was a tad overpriced. The decor could use an update. Read more

Authentic Mexican fare. Even the environment is authentic. Warm flavors with fresh ingredients. Flavorful but not overpowering... spices. Nice balance. Lots of choices and sauces- green sauce, red sauce etc. The menu must be 20 pages long. All the positiveindicators were there. A full restaurant, and a full parking lot. Many of the patrons were Hispanic which tells me that the foodmust be fairly authentic. This is not a fancy place, but comfortable and festive. It has that crowded, I've been here a whilekind of feel to it. I loved the servers and the staff. They were bustling around full of energy and smiles. This is veryconvenient as well. It's just off the Chase Street exit. The bright colored building stands out. There's plenty of parking inthe adjacent parking lot slightly up the hill. If you want to look like you're a regular then use the middle door. If you wantto look like a newbie, try the other doors! Good food in a nice comfortable environment. It's not fancy! But it's good! The homemade corn tortillas take everything to a higher level! This place is a must-go if you?re looking to add a restaurant to... your weekly rotation. I frequented these doors many times in my two years living in Athens. Read more

The food is very good and authentic. I can't wait to go back. I only wish I lived closer so I could go more often. The skinny... margarita was delicious. Read more

My family enjoys every excuse to go to Tlaloc, and I hadn?t even realize my original review for them never posted. I?m posting... pictures from a dine-in experience a month ago and a to-go experience this week. You?ll notice an abundance of chimichangas.Pork is my favorite, but the steak is also well done. I usually go with a shrimp dish, so I like the quesadilla, the cocktail, and the seafood fajitas, which also include squid and fish. Unlimited horchatas is certainly a way to my heart as well. My kidstend to eat the basic quesadilla and fries. There are so, so many things on the menu though that it can definitely beoverwhelming. Go anyways. Look at pictures. Ask for recommendations. They are also almost always packed, but we have always beenable to find parking, even at the far end of their side gravel lot. I recommend trying them out. Always a good time. Read more
