I am a sushi connoisseur. I am used to eating sushi in Seattle. I guess it?s not fair for me to judge since Ohio is a land... locked state away from any salt water and with only access to fresh water. You can definitely tell a difference with the qualityof food from the regional aspects. The food was sweeter than I?m used to. So if you?re looking for authentic sushi this is notthe place. The wasabi was not hot or spicy. However they do provide fresh ginger which was lovely. The miso soup was also verybland. They didn?t provide any green onion. This is in a college town so if you?re looking for something quick and easy I guessthe inexpensive qualities give you a quick fix for eating. But like most quick fixes they?re not as satisfying. Friendly place.Quick food. And if you sit outside it?s great people watching. But overall I would have to give this a two star for sushirestaurant but then again I?ve had some of the top quality sushi around the world and US states. This is one step above grocerystore quality. This place is amazing! Thank you for opening! Food, service, timing are all completely amazing! The employees are incredibly... super nice. Great place to have a business meeting, hanging with friends, or even by yourself studying, especially because youcan order a party size sushi plate. Their Sashimi and Sushi are fresh, the service are very good and they will help you pick the right food for you, My husband... ordered Habachi steak he said it was cook just right very delicious and fresh the fried rice and vegetables were seasonedperfectly. Read more
I've been a lot of places for sushi, but this is a hidden gem in Athens. This place is amazing. If you love good hibachi or... sushi... you have got to try this place! This place has great food and equally great service. Read more
We ate in even though it's not you typical "get waited on" restaurant. We ordered the sushi platter/tray. It came with 10... different rolls of sushi for like $65. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Definitely worth the value. It must bea popular place too, because people were coming in and out the whole time we were there. Will definitely visit again. Read more

Best food in uptown! Seriously, if you like hibachi, give this gem a try. Been here a couple times and never disappoints. Even... the sushi is killer. Oh and the restrooms are clean ???? Just my honest 2 cents. Read more
