Thanksgiving "feast" was a bust. Over an hour wait for food that was just average - and cold. I had the traditional turkey and... my husband had the chicken and dumplings. Both of us had to send our plates back to be heated up. The only really good thing wasthe biscuits with blackberry jam. Great service even when busy! Only complaint would be this is right off the highway and very confusing on how to get into the... parking lot. They could have built a driveway off Decatur but no you have to go to the light turn down that road then drive inlike you're going to the hotel and drive around back. The gift shop is always great all times if the year and for what they sellthe prices for things are not to bad for a gift shop. The service at this location is great. We went today on Labor Day and mydad was obviously hungry for breakfast and got the steak and eggs but ended up choking cause he needs to slow down when eatinghaha. But he ended up... Sorry it's gross... Spitting up what he choking on onto his plate and they kindly took the plate awayand made him a fresh steak and eggs! And we wanted to pay for both plates but our waitress refused to charge us for both plates!I wish I would've caught her name cause she is sassy and told us NO!! Not at all!! Merchandising displays were some of the best I've seen traveling southeast! Gals were super sweet and I wish I could name drop.... But on Friday April 29, 2022... you'll know based on which of the items we purchased and enjoyed visiting for a quick mentalbreak on a 2 day road trip through Tennessee. We've eaten at many Cracker Barrel restaurants across the USA and were very disappointed with this location. My husband ordered... his eggs over easy and even ordered toast, in addition to his biscuits, just so he could "dunk". As you can see in the photo hiseggs were very over cooked and the second photo shows his biscuits barely had gravy on them. Then there was my order which wassupposed to be a BLT with a fried egg. It came as a "T" with an egg and burnt toast. I borrowed some "B" from my husband and didwithout the "L" because our server dropped our food and never returned. I gave 2 stars because the restaurant and store wereclean and the store was well stocked. Read more
