We had been traveling all day and was trying to find a decent place to have dinner. Even though it was after 8 pm and they were... closing at 9m, they welcomed us in and provided awesome service! The steaks we had were absolutely delicious and cooked toperfection. Their salad bar was fresh and has alot of great options. Their hot potato topping bar is a great addition to awonderful baked potato. There are so many options: from cheese and broccoli to chili. I highly recommend this place if you aretraveling through Athens Tennessee. If you are local and have never had a meal here... you need to! Read more
Ok, I'm going to try to not be too harsh on this one. This is more a reflection probably on ownership than on the staff. The... wait staff was good. I grew up around here, and so the review is more on the fact that it seemed nothing has been updated orchanged for the past 20-25 years. The menu boards had items tacked to it on what wasn't available. Not a good first impression.The flow is set up for back in its hey days when the lines were wrapped around. Needs to be more open. The interior is literallya time capsule as well as the music/ambience. I think with all the updates in and around the shopping center that this buildingand setting would also be updated. Plus the food. Yeah, it was good like that 20 years ago, but it too also needs revamping. Itwasn't the greatest tasting and the rolls were under cooked. Food was good and hot. Steak was cooked just like I asked. Salad bar was good. They have a dessert bar. Was really looking... forward to eating from the bar, but they do not have the hot bar out, you order your entree and then make your own salad andhave options for dessert. Read more
The only reason for 2 stars is good staff. Food was garbage. Tough steak, way under cooked from what I ordered, tasted like old... meat and no seasoning. Honestly I have had a better steak at Waffle House. Bland baked potatoes. Read more

I would give it 5 stars if it would bring back the hot food bar, but since Covid they refuse to have it any more. I have been to... other Sizzlers who do have their hot food bars open so I only give them 4 stars. Read more
