Had the best waitress Monday at the restaurant in Athens, TX!!! The food was fantastic, too!! Prices were reasonable or... comparable to most but the experience overall was the absolute BEST part of our Girl Trip weekend! OMG! So good! We had the Rib-eye, shrimp, salmon, chicken salad sandwich, and grilled shrimp Alfredo pasta, and everyone loved... their food! The fried pickles and brisket queso appetizers were awesome! We will definitely be back! Read more
Had the 9.99 chicken fried steak Monday special the garlic mashed potatoes and fried okra. It was very good. The rolls were... fresh, soft and so tasty. They were out of the green fried tomatoes and fried pickels, darn , but we had plenty to eat. Read more

Fried pickles are very crisp & very good! Brisket queso was ok, I guess. We removed the brisket so we could cut the fat off and... it turns out almost all of it was fat, the other parts of the appetizer was ok. Margaritas are good. We also ordered chickentenders with honey BBQ & sweet chili sauce. The sweet chili sauce was good but I was surprised how much I didn't like the honeyBBQ. Our service was good, overall, not bad. Within about 30 minutes or do didn't feel too great, we think it was just thateverything seemed to be heavily fried, just lacked balance. Read more
My wife and I both ordered the sirloin Steak meal. The steaks were perfectly grilled and very good. We also had the broccoli... rice side and Mashed potatoes. These were very good as well. Our fried Mushrooms as an appetizer tasted awesome. Service wasvery friendly and fast. Trey was our waiter, this young man made us feel special and went above and beyond our entire stay.
