Unfortunately the experience was less than average. I used to come here at least once per week. Over the years it seems the... atmosphere has been lacking?for example a greeting is not happening and when you ask the employees how they are doing they seemto not really want to answer. Never see employees smiling today. How unfortunate. Three stars is being generous?follow up is asI was leaving, I tried to get a tea refill. Did not happen. Doubt if I will be back to this location for a while. Update: cameback two months later and it was a great experience, the kind I had always been used to in the past. Service was simply delightful. I'm from out of town and I felt that warm southern hospitality. Loaded spud was excellent. The... spicy southwest chicken sandwich tasted good, without having any ingredients tasting bad or out of place. The broccoli andcheddar soup was delightful. I enjoyed the Savannah chopped salad, and of the desserts I had (there was no cheesecakeunfortunately), I preferred the brookie. Yes, we just picked up our call-in order. My fiancé ordered the king club with a side of Mac and cheese. Well instead of... telling us they were out of the side they just decide to write it on the receipt. They don?t offer a different side or even tellus. So I guess we just paid and didn?t get it. I?ve never given a bad review but last night was unacceptable. I called in a Togo order and the girls was super rude. When I got... there they were unhappy and rude. Got my food home and it wasn?t right.put Mayo on the sandwich. There were 6 pieces of fruit inthe cup. My little boys pizza was messed up! Friendly staff. Great food favorite deli to go to. Others don't come close to the quality food they have.
Not real big on giving one star reviews but our experience was extremely disappointing. First I'll start by saying the food was... delicious and the gentleman at the counter was friendly and nice. He would check on us to see if we needed any refills while wewere there. So here's why the 1 star review. My fianc? used the restroom and when we were leaving noticed she didn't have herphone. So she went back to the restroom thinking she left it there. She asked the manager if anyone had returned a phone andthey said no. So she came outside and asked me to call her phone while she was inside the restaurant. She heard her phoneringing and it was coming from the back pocket of one of the employees. She asked for it back and we left. This will probably bethe last time we visit McAlister's. Wish I didn't have to write this review. Read more
