While waiting for my meal, I quickly noticed that the person bringing out my chips and salsa was sweating profusely and was... staring at me with an angry expression. I was still courteous and the only response I received was an angry expression and thesounds of the salsa bowls tossed on my table. This was a very unpleasant experience. A person in such a state should not havebeen serving food or interacting with customers. The food is your standard fare Mexican cuisine that you can find for muchcheaper at other places. I honestly don?t know why we keep trying to come here. I?ve lived in this town for 5 years and have never had a decent... experience unless we went for lunch on Tuesday after 2 pm. They ALWAYS have a ridiculous wait even though their parking lot isvirtually empty. The service is always awful, and the blame is ALWAYS on ?The kitchen?. We have never gone to eat there andwalked out in under an hour and a half. The excuse is ALWAYS we are ?short staffed? but when you walk in there are 5+ peoplestanding at the front door talking or walking around on their phones. The food is decent, but the service and wait time is NOTworth the food. Read more

We were seated quickly but this was not a reflection of the service. Although the server was friendly and kind the kitchen and... bar did not do her any favors. We ordered drinks and queso, we got them about 20 minutes later. Then another drink and foodwhich took about 30-35 minutes. They brought part of his dinner (puffy taco) randomly way before the rest was served. The puffytaco was bad, the queso tasted like that cheap nacho cheese you get out of a can. By the time we were brought our food we werefull and barely ate any. We are staying at a hotel so it was a big waste of money since we couldn't take it and reheat it. Thatbeing said the poblano and charro beans were great and he loved the beef enchiladas with con carne (chili) on it. The salsa wasgood but the white dip (no idea what it was) did not have flavor. One thing that surprised the hell out of us is that themargaritas we ordered were $15 each! I wish they listed the price because it was great but that blew my whole dinner budget forthe next day. I didn't expect to spend $100 on tex-mex. The decor is super cute and the staff is friendly and welcoming. If thisplace made a few, small changes they would be fantastic. Try and get peoples drinks to them more quickly and the food servicewas slow, for a Monday especially. Read more
