Amazing vibes. The outdoor patio is such an awesome concept. Decent wine selection. Pizza is good, a little doughy for me, but... taste was good. Service is excellent. Read more

Be sure to order an Aperol spritz. The bartender loves making them. That?s probably not true, but a lot of people (including... myself) ordered an Aperol spritz during the 10 min I was by the bar. Understandably, as they make a good spritz (I have noauthority aside from I liked it). The vegan pizza was good and did not sit heavy as pizza usually does. There were big chunksof artichoke and the cashew cheese had a nice texture. A pizza fed two people adequately. This is a counter-service restaurantwith plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The general vibe is industrial chic. There is free parking in a lot directly in frontof the building and additional space around the corner. Read more

The ambiance of the outdoor seating here is amazing! The food is also great! We got the Vegan Giardino, and even though I?m not... vegan, I thought it was really good and comparable to classic pizza. Will definitely return! Read more

My family stopped in Ammazza for Father?s Day after an enthusiastic recommendation from my sister-in-law, and it did not... disappoint. You order when you arrive at the counter and they?ll bring it to your table. I heard a lot about the meatballappetizer and I was impressed at the purist simple ingredients that made them taste like my grandma?s (and my) meatballs. They?re baked in a subtle, sweet red sauce with ricotta and mozzarella melted in a small cast iron skillet. Delicious andgenerous with the meatballs. I?d suggest serving it with some sort of bread to clean out that skillet though. The three pizzasfor the table all had fresh ingredients and a soft chew on the crust with minimum char. I usually like cherry sausage, but Iwould have preferred regular Italian sausage on the Amarena. It was still very good, but the sausage overpowered the rest of theingredients a bit. The vegan mushroom pizza was cooked to perfection and a pleaser. Overall, great service for a place that?sunderstaffed (which restaurant isn?t these days?). I had the Sangria as well and it was refreshing on yet another hot summerday. Stop in and enjoy the rustic brick building and ambiance on Edgewood. Read more

Hands down the best gluten free and vegan pizza in the city! I got the Vegan Sottacetto (house tomato sauce, fresh basil,... artichoke, sauteed wild mushrooms, kalamata olives, house cashew "cheese"). The gluten free crust was so flaky and good. I lovedthe combo of the cashew cheese and the artichokes!! The combinations were amazing! I also loved the urban rustic decor and theoutdoor patio. Read more

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn?t busy at all. There?s a lot of indoor space and spacious patio seating outside as... well. A pie is basically $20+ and can serve 2 regular eaters or 3 light eaters. Vegan piccante 5/5 and actually spicy???? Margherita (regular cheese) 3/5 Sangria carafe 5/5 Gonna come back for sure Read more

Great pizza and the ambiance is something we loved as well. Their liquor selection was a pleasant surprise since most places... lean heavy on craft beer and neglect other spirits. Outdoor area was dog friendly. There is ample street parking around.Definitely will return Read more
