OMG!!! This was a WONDERFUL experience. Kay host was amazing. The food is a different story. The seafood fritters was lacking... the seafood but the sauce was amazing. Only one steak for the day when originally going for the 22 oz so wasn't able to get myrequest. Hopefully next visit they will have more than one. The Southern Mac-n-Cheese is definitely overpriced to be plain andno southern flavor. But the seafood fried rice made up for the missing flavors. Lastly the rolls was undercooked and wouldsuggest to request butter with the cinnamon sauce that it comes with. The menu does not display the automatic gratuity but theservice was well deserved. Went here for a date night this past Friday. The food was well seasoned, the mash potatoes were amazing and my steak was cooked... perfect. My husband had the salmon, asparagus and rice. He was a little disappointed he couldn't get the salmon burger but theydidn't have anymore. The drinks were strong and good. The ambiance of the main area was nice, but we were seated in the areanear the outside patio. It wasn't as nice as the inside decor and ambiance. Next time I will ask to be seated inside by the bar. Came here 8.19.22 The location is great. Not In the city with congested traffic.......... We got seated fast and our server was... nice.... Kind of disappointed they were out of the salmon burgers.... Always bad when an item is out in my opinion at arestaurant... I will say the drinks were strong.... They did had a good music play list but need to fix their speakers... THEMASH POTATOES ARE A MUST TRY. steak was good as well as the salmon..... This is definitely a place to try at least once. Live in the neighborhood and pass by this place all the time. First time visiting was Father’s Day (with my dad) and I have... to say we were both impressed. The food was really tasty and plentiful, and their featured cocktails are reallystrong. What impressed us more was the staff. From the young lady at the door, to the manager that walked around making surewe were good. My dad really appreciated the special attention and our server Harold was pretty awesome andknowledgeable. Our Dinner Club visited this restaurant and like the other reviews stated, Allison was awesome(hope she gets a promotion or a... raise). My friend had to send the mash potatoes back because they were cold, hostesses was incredibly awesome, bathroom was veryclean & decorated nice. So overall I would tell the kitchen staff to work on sending hot food out to guest! I would probablygive it another try! Read more
The service - So….I finally got to try this place and I was disappointed with the service. It was a Sunday night so not busy... at all. There were maybe 3 other customers/tables. We had to wait almost 15 minutes before someone even approached our tablethen waited almost an hour for our food. One of my friends ordered a baked potato and it was cold. She sent it back and askedthem to reheat it and it came back cold again. She couldn’t eat it. Not sure what they were doing in the kitchen but they werenot busy at all. The food - Delicious! I had the salmon burger and it was good! Seasoned perfectly. The drinks are good and notwatered down. My cousin had the chargrilled oysters and I tried them for the first time - delicious! My first time coming here was on my 21st Birthday that was August 21st in 2021. My Experience at Blaze was Excellent!!!!! I got... the fried brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese, along with the corn in a bowl. And all of these meals were absolutely delicious as wellas perfectly cooked! Tables were perfectly clean and the floors were polished. PS this place requires a reservation to come hereand you have to follow a specific dress code which is to dress classy and cleanly, so make sure to follow these rules before youcome. Another thing that I loved about Blaze was the black interior! They have black napkins, black walls, black tables, blackseats, just a whole black theme that I thought was a really cool touch to the place. All the employees were very friendly andthe staff including the cooks did a great job preparing the food too. Would love to come back here some time. Definite fivestars.
