This was my first time visiting The Continent & it was just okay… I was expecting more based on a few people reviews. The... snapper was good but I had to send it back the first time because my food was not hot at all (please note, after waiting a goodamount iof time to receive the food). My next issue was the vegetables that came with the snapper… a plate full of bellpepper, onions and something that almost reminds me of fennel… I definitely wasn’t expecting that but hey… My friendordered the lamb chops and said it taste like oxtails and she didn’t like the side that came with it. my next issue is theyseat you at a table with other people because of the limited seating and yea, we were seated with 4 other individuals thatweren’t together. My last issue, they had comedy night & they never mentioned there was an additional fee. To our surprise itwas on our bill. The comedy was just okay the host for comedy night KellyKellz was better than the actual comedians smh. Butthe vibe was really nice & I’m glad I was able to experience The Continent, but I don’t have to return. Read more

I must say this restaurant was very nice ! My waiter and the hostess were sweet . The food was great . I’m giving a 3 star... only because of my steak. It was flavored perfectly but overcooked . I ordered medium well and it came out super well done withno pink at all. I asked for a new one or to be substituted for another entree and the manager denied this request. My steak was140 and I ate none of it due to it being over cooked and still paid for it . This is not the type of service I expect from afine dining establishment. I came here for my birthday dinner and this put a damper on my experience. I still say try them out Iwill Come again to give it another try . I love supporting black owned business and would hope For a better experience on thenext try. Read more

Upon entrance, we were greeted at the resturant/lounge with welcomes, beautiful art and soothing music. The cigar lounge is a... cozy waiting area, with a game of Jenga, as the host(ess) prepares your table. The dining room is cozy for couples and groups.Everyone in our group stated there food was either tender, very moist, pleasing to their palates and seasoned to perfection. Fantastic food & atmosphere! My husband and I dined tonight after having it recommended by another friend and it did not... disappoint. The staff was attentive, particularly our waitress, Karen. She was personable and engaging and made some greatrecommendations for us. The pepper prawns with the coco bread and the “stush martini” were the highlight for me buteverything we had was delightful! Looking forward to dining again soon - especially if Karen is our server for the evening. Read more

The food was incredible, fresh ingredients (if you are on Buford Highway your ingredients should be fresh). We tried several... appetizers including the oxtail bao and the tamarind wings along with the Sun salad all fresh and delicious. The main courseswere the friend red snapper with some delicious fresh vegetables, the stew peas which is like a heavy pea stew with rice and thechargrilled chicken. Once again everything was delicious and fresh and excellent. The service was outstanding our server Simonewas friendly and fun.
